The hazards of driving scrapped five small vehicles: (1) The hidden dangers of the vehicle are serious. Due to the long service life of scrapped vehicles, serious aging and damage of mechanical parts, vehicle operation flexibility, stability, braking performance, etc. are greatly reduced, the probability of accidents is much greater than that of other vehicles, and there are great safety hazards on the road. (2) Heavy pollution. Scrapped vehicles have a long service life, serious aging of engines, significant increase in fuel consumption, and emission pollutants seriously exceed the national standards for automobile emission pollutants, which not only cause energy waste, but also seriously pollute the atmospheric environment, thereby affecting people's quality of life and not meeting environmental protection requirements. (3) There are many contradictions and disputes. In order to evade inspection, scrapped vehicles often use decks, fake cards or even no license on the road, and drivers brazenly violate road traffic safety laws and regulations, and serious traffic violations such as drunk driving, speeding, malicious red lights, reverse driving, illegal parking, and driving outside the prescribed lane are common, threatening the safety of others' lives and property. Because the vehicle has reached the scrapping period and cannot be insured, once a traffic accident occurs, the victim often does not get the due economic compensation, causing contradictions and disputes.
Penalties for driving scrapped five small vehicles: (1) According to Article 100 of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China, if a person drives an assembled motor vehicle or a motor vehicle that has reached the scrapping standard on the road, the traffic management department of the public security organ shall confiscate it and force it to be scrapped. (2) A driver who drives a motor vehicle listed in the preceding paragraph on the road shall be fined between 200 and 2,000 yuan, and the driver's license of the motor vehicle shall be revoked. (3) Where a motor vehicle that has reached the scrapping standard is sold, the illegal gains shall be confiscated, a fine equal to the sales amount shall be imposed, and the motor vehicle shall be dealt with in accordance with the provisions of the first paragraph of this article.
