Bees come from different families and belong to different subspecies, but all belong to the genus Hymenoptera. All hymenoptera insects have two pairs of wings that can be combined. This article will mainly introduce the Western bee species represented by 4 major subspecies.
The Kaniola bee, the Kaniaran honey bee, ranges from the Austrian Alps to Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia.
Caucasian bees – Caucasian honey bees, bees found in the mountains between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea, range from South Russia to Azerbaijan.
The Italian bee --- Italian bee, originated in Italy but is shipped around the world.
European Black Bee – The black European bee of Northern and Western Russia.

Caniola bee
Finally this bee is native to the British Isles, although it has been widely interbred with imported Italian and Canion bees.
Each subspecies exhibits different characteristics that develop in order to survive in the place of origin.
The color of the cani wasp is slightly grey, gentle and easy to manage. Resistant to larval diseases, although adults are more susceptible to paralysis, ticks (a type of chigger mite that invades the trachea), and sporangiasis (an intestinal infection of adult wasps). Good wintering performance, less feed consumption. Spring is fast, but then easy to divide the bees. Due to its wide distribution, it has many variants or strains that exhibit many variations.
Caucasian bees look much larger than canion bees and are tame, but they are not very bee-splitting. Colonies are susceptible to spore disease and often die in winter. Bee colonies do not develop quickly in the spring, and worker bees like to build joint spleens and collect large amounts of propolis, making beehives more difficult to operate.
Caucasian bees
Italian bees have yellow bands on the abdomen, ranging from bright yellow to leather color, very tame, high honey production, not excessive bees, good spleen performance. However, it does not perform well when transported to an area with a longer and cooler temperature than the winter of origin. Its tendency to overwinter in large flocks means that it requires large winter reserves, and giving the colony extra food will quickly stimulate its breeding rather than storing food, and has low resistance to chigger mites.
Italian bee
European black wasps are black, have long body hair, overwinter well, save feed, and collect a lot of powder. In the spring, the group develops slowly, but the individuals have a longer lifespan and are more diligent, can fly farther away to collect, have a strong ability to make nests and spleens, and have white caps. The bee colony is highly defensive and can overcome its ferocious nature by choosing breeding.
European Black Bee
In the British Isles there are a large number of bees that are hybridized, mostly from New Zealand and Italian bee ancestry that previously came from the United States. However, recent studies through DNA techniques have demonstrated that purebred colonies of European black bees still exist here.
Using the above data analysis, buying imported bees from non-native subspecies seems to be a good choice because they seem to provide the characteristics you want. But before you do that, think about the future. In the air, the queen bee intercourses with male bees from all nearby hives flocking to the male bee assembly area, most likely different subspecies or their hybrids. Although distant hybridization can produce a hybrid advantage, bad temper can be passed down several generations in bees.
If you introduce a different subspecies of a pure race to your area, and your bees are divided, then the virgin queen who is still in the swarm will have a distant hybridization when it crosses. Then, your very docile, easy-to-manage colony could turn into a killer bee. However, if some local bees are obtained (checked, the colony is disease-free and well managed) when your virgin queen flies out to cross the tail, it is more likely to have tailing with male bees that have similar genetics and similar temperaments to it, which is likely to make the resulting colony still stable.
