After NATO struck Serbia by force, why did it not cultivate a pro-American regime? April 27, 1992: The Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, formed by Serbia and Montenegro, is proclaimed, marking the formal dissolution of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.

The purpose of NATO's armed attack on Serbia was to stop the war in Kosovo.

The Yugoslav civil war was a long and bloody process. In June 1991, Slovenia declared independence and engaged in a two-week armed conflict with Serbs under control of the Yugoslav People's Army.

Slovenia is the richest of the Yugoslav republics, with almost all ethnic Slovenes in its territory and less resistance to independence. Within more than 10 days, the Slovenes drove all the People's Army out of their territory and achieved complete independence.

At the same time, Croatia declared independence, but ushered in the terrible Croatian civil war. On the territory of the Republic of Croatia, a large number of Serbs live, representing 12 per cent of the population.

By this time Yugoslavia had collapsed, and Serbia and Montenegro formed a new state, the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, referred to as the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.

Why is Montenegro willing to stand with Serbia? Montenegro is entirely Serb, and the two countries are essentially the same nation.

The FRY declared its support for all Serbian brothers, provided a large amount of military assistance to the Serbian armed forces in Croatia, and even sent troops directly to support it.

The brutal Croatian civil war lasted from 1991 to 1995, during which both sides committed horrific genocides. The population was just over 4 million, and the Croats had plummeted by 350,000, all of whom had died in fighting or massacres. There has also been a significant decrease in the number of Serbs in the country.

The Croatian civil war, as terrible as it is, is nothing compared to the Bosnian civil war.

In Croatia, Croats have an overwhelming demographic preponderance, accounting for more than 80 per cent, and the Serb minority is limited.

Bosnia and Herzegovina is completely different, and the peoples are evenly matched. On the eve of the outbreak of the civil war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, 44 per cent of the total population of 4.4 million were Muslims, 31 per cent Serbs and 17 per cent Croats.

The Serbs in Bosnia and Herzegovina did not have an absolute advantage. The civil war in Bosnia and Herzegovina soon turned into a horrific ethnic vendetta with countless deaths.

In July 1995, Bosnian Serb troops captured the security zone established by the United Nations in Srebrenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Serb troops, in front of 2,000 UN peacekeepers, captured large numbers of ordinary Muslims.

More than 7,000 men, including underage children and old men, were shot. This is the famous Srebrenica massacre!

After World War II, there was no precedent for a Holocaust in Europe, which shocked the world.

Beginning in August, NATO sent warplanes to bombard the Serb armed forces in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Muslim and Croat troops took the opportunity to launch an attack on the Serbs in western Bosnia and Herzegovina. By late September, the Serb forces could not stand up and agreed to armistice negotiations.

On 21 November 1995, the Presidents of Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia reached the Framework Agreement for Peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina in Dayton, Ohio, United States. The agreement stipulates that Bosnia and Herzegovina will continue to exist as a unitary sovereign State, consisting of two entities, the Mukh Federation, which controls 51 per cent of the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina and 49 per cent by the Serbs, roughly in proportion to the population.

So far, the civil war in Bosnia and Herzegovina lasted for three years, resulting in the death of up to 280,000 people in this small country of more than 4 million people, more than 2 million people as refugees and the destruction of 85% of the country.

And the civil war in Bosnia and Herzegovina is not only causing such great destruction, but also a dehumanizing ethnic vendetta.

In the civil war, the three ethnic groups have slaughtered each other for civilians, and there have even been a large number of bestiality killings, and large-scale sexual assault of women of other ethnic groups, which is considered a means of humiliating hostile peoples.

In 1999, civil war broke out again in Kosovo.

In Kosovo, the predominant ethnic group is the Albanian ethnic group, while the Serbs are the minority.

Albanians were unwilling to accept Serbian rule and wanted national independence. As early as 1991, Albanians held a referendum to declare Kosovo's independence and established their own government in 1992.

The Albanians have little military strength, and they are still effectively controlled by the Yugoslav government, or Serbs.

Seeing the independence of the Croats and Muslims in the Bosnian civil war, Albanian militants formed the "Kosovo Liberation Army" in 1996 and began a violent separatist movement. In the face of Albanian resistance, the Yugoslav government led by Milosevic took tough repressive measures and sent a large number of Serb troops and police forces to Kosovo in an attempt to eliminate the "Kosovo Liberation Army". Thus, a bloody civil war broke out again.

There is a strange thing here, why did Milosevic sit idly by and watch the Bosnian truce and independence go out, but suppress Kosovo at any cost?

The main thing is the special status of Kosovo. Serbs believe that Kosovo is the birthplace of the Serbian nation. It was only because Kosovo was historically controlled by the Turks that a large number of Albanians poured in. Now that the Albanians are demanding independence, they are taking away the Serbs' roots, and they naturally firmly oppose it.

The civil war in Kosovo was bloody, with tens of thousands of casualties in this small country of only 2 million people and more than 300,000 people fleeing the country as refugees.

In the same vein, ethnic vendettas have been repeated in civil wars, and the bodies of slaughtered civilians have been constantly found.

In February 1999, NATO's initial ultimatum, the Rambouillet Agreement, required a truce between the Kosovo Liberation Army and the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia army: respect for the territorial integrity of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, a high degree of autonomy for Kosovo, withdrawal of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia army from Kosovo, disarmament of the "Kosovo Liberation Army", the formation of a new police force in proportion to the local population to maintain law and order, and NATO's contribution of a multinational force to Kosovo to ensure the implementation of the agreement. Three years later, an international conference was held to determine Kosovo's final status.

This is NATO's final decision, whoever violates will bomb whom.

NATO does this for two main reasons:

First, the hope is the complete disintegration of Yugoslavia and the elimination of regional threats.

Second, stop possible mass killings.

The Kosovo Liberation Army was smart enough to declare compliance with the Rambouillet Agreement, but Minošević refused.

In March, representatives of the Kosovo Liberation Army signed the agreement on the 18th, but the Serbian side refused to sign the Rambouillet Agreement.

On 23 March 1999, United States Special Envoy for the Balkans Hobruck declared the peace talks a failure.

The Clinton administration announced the end of diplomatic efforts and began air attacks against the FRY, which responded by marching into Kosovo and expelling ethnic Albanians with a more brutal policy of ethnic cleansing, causing the largest influx of refugees in Europe since World War II.

After 78 days of bombing, the Southern Union suffered considerable losses, the country and army almost collapsed, and it was forced to choose to submit.

On 10 June 1999, the United Nations decided to implement the Rambouillet Accords through resolution 1244.

Everyone should note that this is a decision of the United Nations, not NATO, and is valid from the perspective of international law.

The United States has achieved its goal, and there is no need to support any pro-American Serbian regime.

Unexpectedly, what the Americans did not do, the Serbs themselves did.

After successive defeats, the Serbs began to be angry with Minoshevic.

Since Minošević came to power, he has pursued Greater Serbianism, participated in the Croatian Civil War, the Bosnian Civil War, and the Kosovo War, hoping to establish the Greater Serbian State. All three wars were lost, and even tiny North Macedonia became independent. These wars were all marked by genocide, and Minošević was known in the West as the Butcher of the Balkans and the Serbs became discredited.

In particular, the last 78 days of bombing, NATO bombed Serbian civilian facilities, such as bridges, railways, roads, factories, television stations, communication systems and power systems, resulting in huge losses and extreme hardship for the people.

Due to Milosevic's poor governance, the Serbian economy also plummeted, banknote inflation was wasted paper, and even 500 billion banknotes appeared.

In the event of a total military-political and economic collapse, the Serbs abandoned Milosevic.

A few months later, in the presidential and parliamentary elections of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, Kostunica won the opposition Democratic camp.

Milosevic lost power, and his party abandoned him.

Betrayed by his fellow Serbs, sent to The Hague for trial, and died in prison.

It should be noted that as early as more than a decade ago, in December 2009, Serbian President Boris Tadić formally submitted Serbia's application to join the EU to Swedish Prime Minister Reinfeldt, which holds the rotating presidency of the EU.

Currently, the EU believes that Serbia and Montenegro can be accepted into the EU in 2025.

The melon-eating masses have dispersed, and the people are from the European Union.

In an interview in January 2023, President Vučić stressed: "We have said from the beginning that we must not and will not support Russia's invasion of Ukraine. For us, Crimea is Ukraine, Donbass is Ukraine, and it has always been so. "While we maintain good diplomatic relations, that doesn't mean we support every decision or the vast majority of the Kremlin."

Not long ago, in April 2023, the Russian satellite news agency reported that Serbian President Vučić, speaking about "military aid to Ukraine", said that a quarter to a third of the country's weapons were bought by the United States, and these weapons may have gone to Ukraine. Vučić admitted that Serbia was informed. For example, if Spain buys Cypriot weapons, the Serbian side will definitely sell them, but even if it knows that the weapons ended up going to Ukraine, Serbia has no choice but to do so. The United States and Serbia have signed long-term arms supply contracts and bought between a quarter and a third of their arms and ammunition. The Cypriot side cannot shut down the production plant because of this. As part of the plan, Vučić said that in the next three years, the Serbian military will buy "all weapons and ammunition" in the country, so that there is no need to discuss the issue of weapons shipped to Ukraine.

Interestingly, the Western media have repeatedly spread the news of Serbia's "military aid to Ukraine", such as the Pentagon's "intelligence leak" on April 12. However, the Serbian side has repeatedly denied it, and not long ago, Serbian Defense Minister Vucevic said that the Serbian side has denied such rumors more than 10 times and will continue to deny them. But he also acknowledged that Cypriot weapons may enter the battlefield in a "magical way", but this is not a problem for the Cypriot side, but for some countries that buy weapons.

In peacetime, you can pour the grass on both sides, and Serbia pretends to take advantage of both sides (the country relies 100% on low-cost imports of natural gas from Russia, and there are military cooperation projects between the two sides to maintain until the outbreak of the Russian-Ukrainian war).

The real time has come to choose only one big brother, that is: I am a billionaire, showdown!
