The Aisin Ghora family created nearly 300 years of history in the Qing Dynasty, originally as a branch of the Jurchens, which originated in the wilderness of the White Mountains and Black Water, but a legend about its family's origins has been passed down among future generations.

It is said that there is a Changbai Mountain in the northeast, which stretches for thousands of miles on all sides, and the mountains are stacked on top of each other, and the mountains are winding and beautiful. In the majestic mountain, there is a deep pool called Kai, with a radius of nearly 80 li, of which the pool is long and the source is deep. The birthplace of the Yalu River, the Mixed River (the section of the Songhua River after it joins the Heilongjiang River), and the Aituo River (also known as the Yeruo River) are located here.

There is a Bukuli Mountain on the east side of Changbai Mountain, and there is a Tianchi called Burri Lake at the bottom of the mountain, which was formed here. Lake Burri is scenic and the water is crystal clear. It is said that there are three fairies, the big fairy is called Ngulun, the secondary fairy is called Zhenggulun, and the little fairy is called Fogulun. They come to this lake so often to bathe and play that they forget to come back.

At one time, these three beautiful fairies came to take a bath as usual. After playing for a while, they took off their clothes and jumped naked into the lake to play. While they were playing in the lake, a divine sparrow suddenly flew from the end of the sky. It holds a vermilion fruit in its mouth. After circling for a while, they slowly placed the vermilion fruit on the fairy's clothes.

After the three fairies washed and went ashore, the fairies were about to get dressed. Suddenly, she noticed a fresh fruit on it. For a while, she was so happy that she put it in her mouth. Who knew she hadn't had time to chew yet? This fruit, like the Monkey King, rolled into her stomach.

The fairy was stunned. Before she could yell, her snow-white belly began to grow as much as magic. In the blink of an eye, she was pregnant in October. The fairy was very scared. She touched her stomach and quickly asked her two fairy sisters for help: "Oh, sister, I ate that fruit." Now my belly has become bigger, my body has become heavier, and I can't fly. What am I going to do? Seeing this, the two fairy sisters did not panic, so they comforted her and said: "Sister, don't worry, we are fairies, ranked as immortals, there is nothing to be afraid of." Since God made you pregnant, then be quiet, do not make noise, give birth to a child, and return to heaven! ”

After speaking, the two immortal sisters floated into the sky.

The fairy watched her sister leave and had to find another place to settle down. Soon after, a boy was born. The boy was born with a strong physique and a peculiar appearance. He can speak without teaching.

The Legend of the Fairy of Aisin Kyoro (1)

When the little boy grew up, the fairy told him, "You were born from me eating a fairy fruit." Now you take the surname Aisin Kyoro and the name Bukuri Yongshun. God gave birth to you so that you can contribute to the world and calm the chaos. You go down the river now, and that's where you're going. ”

Then the fairy gave him a small boat and flew in the air.

After Bukuri knelt down to bid farewell to his mother, he sailed down the river, through the vast forest, to the sparsely populated steppe, and then stopped. After going ashore, Bukuriyongshun broke off some willow branches and grass and sat on them to practice secretly.

There were three tribes where Bukuri Yongshun stopped at that time, because they were fighting each other. It happened that a man came to the river to get water. When he saw Bukuli Yongshun sitting there, looking strange, he went back and told the people in his tribe. After listening, everyone rushed to see it, was surprised, and asked him where he came from.

When Bukuriyongshun saw a group of people looking at him with astonishment in their eyes, he got up and solemnly told them: "I am the son of a fairy, and this time I have come to calm your chaos, and you should quickly worship me as king," and said and told them his name.

Everyone was surprised, so they went back and discussed: "This man seems to be heaven, we cannot go against God's will, it is better to stop fighting and treat him as king." So the people welcomed Bukuliyongshun back to the tribe, and then married the daughter of the tribal chief to him.

In this way, Bukuli Yongshun became a beile (beile, Manchu for "king"). With his mediation, the struggle between the three tribes also ended. Later, Bukuli Yongshun led the tribe to live in the eastern part of the Changbai Mountains in the city of Odori, the name of the country Manchuria, which laid the foundation for the Qing Dynasty.
