Nearly 20 cities across Sweden held activities on the 22nd to protest the holding of large-scale international military exercises in Sweden and oppose Sweden's accession to NATO. The protest was attended by the Swedish Peace and Arbitration Association and several organizations against NATO and nuclear weapons. About 100 people attended the event in the capital Stockholm. People held placards and banners with protest words such as "Say No to NATO" and "Stop Aurora 23." Aurora 23 refers to a military exercise currently being held in Sweden with the participation of 26,000 people from NATO members.
