  The Barracuda-class nuclear submarine is France's newest attack nuclear submarine, with a surface displacement of 4,700 tons and an underwater displacement of 5,200 tons, a length of 99 meters, a diameter of 8.8 meters, a pressurized water reactor, a crew of 65 people, and a certain number of special forces and a self-sustaining capacity of 270 days. The onboard armament is the MBDA cruise missile, the F21 heavy wire-guided torpedo and the SM39 Exocet anti-ship missile.

  The first boat "Barracuda" has already entered service. In addition to boat 2, which is about to be tested at sea, there are "Tourville", "De Grass", "Lubis" and "Casabianca", which are currently under construction.

  According to the official website of the French Naval Group on March 19, 2023, the supply ship "Jacques Chevalier" of the French Navy left Saint-Nazaire to begin new sea trials. The tests were conducted on maritime supply systems and combat and communications systems. The sister ship of the Jacques Chevallier, the Jacques Storcopf, will begin construction in 2024 and be delivered to the French Navy in 2025.
