What else can you do in Iceland in winter besides seeing the Northern Lights? Wouldn't it be all snow and you couldn't see anything?

Winters in Iceland can indeed be snowy. However, even if it is white everywhere, the feeling of casual shooting and watching a blockbuster makes the journey full of surprises.

If you also like the gloom of "World's End and Cold Wonderland" or the dreamy fairytale feel of the Snow Kingdom, a trip to Iceland in winter is the place to go.

Winter in Iceland is unpredictable. Driving on the road, the mountain in front of you is still snowing, and when you turn to another peak, it becomes sunny again. I remember my way back to Reykjavik from Straw Hat Mountain on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, and in half a day, I experienced hail, heavy snow, sun and sleet. I really admire the fact that locals can drive over 120 yards on roads that aren't very spacious.

If you travel to Iceland in winter, it is more difficult to do island hopping, because many places will be closed, if you plan to go around the island, it is more suitable in summer. But if you want to see the aurora and explore the unique Blue Ice Cave, it must be in winter.
