【Profile】Mu Zhaokai, born in March 1981, a native of Leling City, Shandong Province, joined the army in December 1999, and is currently the station chief of the eighth company station of the third battalion of a signal regiment in the northern theater and the third-class sergeant major. In the 16 years of enlistment, he has taught himself more than 20 communication professional courses, mastered 6 kinds of communication professional skills such as optical end, program control, power supply, conference, CDMA and military comprehensive network, and wrote 6 articles such as "Analysis of Common Faults of Optical Transceivers" published in academic journals such as "Communication Soldier" and "Communication Noncommissioned Officer", which were affectionately called "communication masters" by officers and soldiers.
He has participated in more than 20 major communication supports, and has completed outstanding results time after time, and has been commended by the notification of the superior department. He was awarded the second prize of the second class and the third class merit three times by the former headquarters, and was commended by the former headquarters as the second prize for scientific and technological talents, the third prize for scientific and technological progress of the former military region, the "advanced technology individual" of the former military region, the "double ten best" pacesetter of the former military region, and the "elite military model of loving the army" of the former military region. At the beginning of this year, a joint combat communications support meeting was held in a certain place in southern Liaoning. 12 minutes before the start of the meeting, the video signal in the main venue was suddenly interrupted, and after testing, the optical cable was normal, and the optical transceiver alarm was intermittent. Seeing that the meeting was about to begin, the check-in staff was in a hurry. At the critical juncture, Mu Zhaokai heard the news and rushed to the scene, after a "look, smell and cut", he immediately judged that the cause of the failure was that the power supply of the optical transceiver was loose, and after the power supply was reconnected, the image immediately returned to normal.
When the name "Mu Zhaokai" was mentioned, every officer and soldier in the regiment would give a thumbs up, and everyone would affectionately call him "Mu Dana." In the past 16 years since joining the army, from an ordinary soldier to a professional and technical backbone, from a "three noes" check-in officer with no education, no experience and no technology to a station manager with honors, Mu Zhaokai has been sitting on the "three-foot machine" for 16 years.
When the reform and strengthening of the army were in progress, the veteran Mu Zhaokai once again set off in full gear. In the face of the new topic of "joint training and joint support" put forward by joint operations for communications support, he led everyone to face difficulties and go all out to tackle key problems; in only half a year, he transformed infrastructure more than 20 times, measured more than 5,000 sets of data, and produced more than 30 data books, taking the lead in taking the new requirements of "one-line joint three armed forces, one key reaching the end", and realizing the historic leap of joint communication support from "connecting the heart" to "connecting the core."
