Yu Fengzhi and Zhang Xueliang's acquaintance originated from an engagement storm.
In 1908, Zhang Zuolin, who was born as a bandit at that time, accidentally met Yu Wendou, the boss of "Feng Juchang". The two talked happily, and then Zhang Zuolin decided to marry as a brother with a different surname because of Yu Wendou's life-saving grace.
In 1913, Zhang Zuolin, who was in a high position, re-encountered Yu Wendou. During the conversation between the two, Yu Wendou smiled when he mentioned his daughter, praising his daughter for being good at both appearance and talent.
Hearing this, Zhang Zuolin became curious and decided to personally go to Yu Wendou's home to meet this talented girl.
One evening, Zhang Zuolin was invited to Yu Wendou's home, and happened to meet a fortune teller at home.
Zhang Zuolin took the opportunity to ask Yu Wendou for Yu Fengzhi's birthday eight characters, and saw that the hanging sticker said: Feng Life.
For a time, Zhang Zuolin was overjoyed, and asked the fortune teller to calculate whether his son Zhang Xueliang and Yu Fengzhi could marry.
The fortune teller couldn't help but exclaim: "These two are a natural pair!" ”
Zhang Zuolin, who was under the influence of feudal thought, laughed heartily when he heard this, thinking that such a family affair must be excellent.
So he asked someone to go to Yu Fengzhi's home to mediate.
At the same time, Zhang Zuolin, who returned home, immediately called Zhang Xueliang in front of him, patted his son on the shoulder, and told him that he had found a good family for him.
At that time, under the influence of advanced ideas, Zhang Xueliang was not optimistic about this family matter, and even had some disgust. Forced by Zhang Zuolin's majesty, Zhang Xueliang could only perfunctorily nod to his father and agree.
However, when Zhang Zuolin asked him to go to Yu Fengzhi's home to inquire about the situation, he pushed back and refused to go to Yu's home.
Even under the stimulation of people with hearts, Zhang Xueliang became more and more disgusted with Feng Zhi, and went directly to the house, and no one persuaded him.
Yu Fengzhi, who was at home, heard about this, and said in his heart that Zhang Xueliang was really awe-inspiring. For his parents' anxiety, Yu Fengzhi did not care at all, and even claimed to withdraw from this family matter.
Is this marriage just gone? Of course it is impossible.
The turning point happened during a secret meeting.
One year during the Dragon Boat Festival, Yu Wendou led Yu Fengzhi to Mukden to deal with affairs. When Zhang Zuolin heard the news, he knew that the opportunity was rare, and ordered his subordinate Wu Junsheng to try his best to match his sons Zhang Xueliang and Yu Fengzhi.
In order to express himself in front of Zhang Zuolin, Wu Junsheng made a slap and used calligraphy and painting to promote Zhang and Yu to get acquainted.
One sunny morning, Yu Fengzhi and Wu Junsheng went to a painting and calligraphy shop together. At that time, Yu Fengzhi did not know that a pair of eyes were secretly observing him, which was Zhang Xueliang, who was disguised as the store manager.
At that time, Zhang Xueliang knew from the first sight of Yu Fengzhi that he was going to marry her.
The girl before meeting only had a graceful posture, excellent appearance, and an indescribable temperament, and a pair of big eyes sparkling, and directly walked into Zhang Xueliang's heart. For a while, Zhang Xueliang was flustered and overwhelmed.
And Yu Fengzhi, with his own eyesight, also guessed that the treasurer in front of him was definitely not an ordinary identity.
After Wu Junsheng's reminder, the two began to look at the painting. Yu Fengzhi showed his skills, directly distinguishing the real and fake paintings one by one, and even took out a work to ask Zhang Xueliang to identify whether it was a genuine work, but he did not expect to make Zhang Xueliang ugly in public, and his face was red with shame.
Through this matter, Yu Fengzhi completely captured Zhang Xueliang's heart.
In 1916, Mukden City, the two held a wedding.
Zhang Xueliang and Yu Fengzhi finally got married, and on the night of the wedding, Yu Fengzhi told Zhang Xueliang that he wanted the Zhang family to have only one hostess.
Newly married Yan'er, Zhang Xueliang, who was full of satisfaction with Yu Fengzhi, could not not agree.
It's just a promise that promises quickly, but it's very difficult to achieve.
After marriage, unfortunately, strong grief
Yu Fengzhi has been smart and thoughtful since he was a child.
After marriage, outsiders originally thought that this "Cinderella" who married into a "wealthy family" would hit a wall everywhere.
Unexpectedly, Yu Fengzhi was comfortable in the Zhang family, she treated people kindly, was quite talented, humble and filial to her elders, and served as best she could.
If Zhang Xueliang was initially attracted by Yu Fengzhi's appearance, then in the following period, Zhang Xueliang had to admire Yu Fengzhi's means, was deeply impressed by her charm, and even willingly called Yu Fengzhi "big sister".
It can be said that the married life during this period is the happiest and most beautiful for Feng Zhi.
However, when Yu Fengzhi was immersed in this happy marriage process, a person suddenly intervened forcefully in her and Zhang Xueliang's life.
This person is Zhao Yidi.
At that time, this Miss Zhao Si could be described as a fashionable figure, just because she was young and beautiful, and she knew very well about dress, she was present in many pictorials and had many suitors.
One day in 1927, 15-year-old Miss Zhao Si came to the Cai Mansion as usual, looking at the people in front of her, she only felt bored.
Suddenly, a general dressed in military uniform came to Miss Zhao Si and extended his hand to her to invite her to dance.
Miss Zhao Si was deeply attracted by this handsome and charming man at a glance. The two danced together until Zhang Xueliang left in a hurry due to business, and Miss Zhao Si did not return to her senses, and kept staring at each other's backs.
This is the first meeting between Zhang Xueliang and Miss Zhao Si, and both parties are deeply impressed by it.
Since then, under various coincidences, Zhang Xueliang and Miss Zhao Si have met repeatedly, and the spark of love is about to burn. But Miss Zhao Si suppressed her thoughts.
Until one day, at a banquet, Zhang Xueliang noticed that Miss Zhao Si had a chicken heart pendant on her chest, so he jokingly wanted to see what was inside.
Miss Zhao Si was flustered, which made Zhang Xueliang even more curious, and he couldn't help but reach out and grab it. When he opened it, it contained a picture of himself and wrote "He who really loves me."
Seeing this scene, how could Zhang Xueliang not be excited.
At this point, the flame of love burned.
Early one morning in September 1929, Miss Zhao Si sneaked out of the house, leaving only a letter at home. Miss Zhao Si's letter stated that she had been pleased with Zhang Xueliang for a long time and wanted her father to fulfill herself.
Seeing this letter, Miss Zhao Si's father was furious, thinking that his daughter ran away from home for a husband with a wife, which was simply uncustomary.
So despite the dissuasion of his family, he insisted on publishing in the newspaper that he had severed the father-daughter relationship with Miss Zhao Si, and never saw each other again.
As soon as this newspaper was published, the people were in an uproar.
Yu Fengzhi, who was far away in the Shenyang Grand Marshal's Mansion, knew about this and suddenly felt bad. Since the ancient hero Duo Meiren, Yu Fengzhi, who has been married to Zhang Xueliang for many years, knows his husband's person, although this kind of thing usually happens, he can treat him generously.
And this matter is known to everyone, and they all praise it, which makes Yu Fengzhi not know how to make up his mind.
At the same time, Miss Zhao Si, who had already left for Shenyang, came to Zhang Xueliang's side and took care of the injured Zhang Xueliang wholeheartedly.
The two were concubines, holding hands and looking at each other.
After recovering from his injuries, Zhang Xueliang took Miss Zhao Si back to the marshal's mansion.
Yu Fengzhi naturally refused to agree, but she pity Zhao Si for four years and had nowhere to return, so she agreed to Zhao Si to be Zhang Xueliang's secretary, and
Zhang Xueliang asked that he could not give Miss Zhao Si a title, nor could he live in the marshal's mansion.
Faced with Feng Zhi's difficulties, Miss Zhao Si endured it one by one, just to stay by the side of the person she loved.
After that, in order to be close to Miss Zhao Si, Zhang Xueliang bought a villa outside the house. During the day, Zhang Xueliang handled official business in the marshal's mansion, and at night, he went to Miss Zhao Si's small villa.
Seeing her husband's approach, Yu Fengzhi could only be full of tears and forcibly endured generosity. In order to keep her husband, Yu Fengzhi even used her private money to take Miss Zhao Si to a small building near the marshal's mansion.
In 1930, Miss Zhao Si gave birth to a baby boy named Zhang Lulin. Because Miss Zhao Si had a strange illness before giving birth, her body was weak.
Out of her husband's love and care for this woman, Yu Fengzhi also did his best for her, and whenever there was something good, he sent it to Miss Zhao Si's room for her to make up. Yu Fengzhi's general and virtuous approach is unmatched.
Outsiders don't know what to do. Everyone envies Zhang Xueliang for having two virtuous inner helpers, and the three of them are happy, which is simply a great wonder of the Republic of China.
But who knows Yu Fengzhi's inner suffering?

Just when Zhang Xueliang was still immersed in his family's happy life, a disaster was about to strike.
Stay away for love, never see each other
In 1936, the Xi'an Incident occurred.
Prior to this, Yu Fengzhi had been accompanying his children to study in the UK and was unaware of Zhang Xueliang's plan.
After the Xi'an Incident, Zhang Xueliang was held back by Chiang Kai-shek and detained him. When Yu Fengzhi heard about this, while planning to return to China, he immediately called Song Ziwen to ask him to protect Zhang Xueliang's safety.
At this time, Chiang Kai-shek had secretly transferred Zhang Xueliang many times.
After returning to China, Yu Fengzhi did not make a big noise, but found Chiang Kai-shek's wife Song Meiling.
After the two met, Yu Fengzhi spoke earnestly and said to Song Meiling: "I have been married to Han Qing for many years, and I have a deep relationship. Even if I want to go to prison with my companion, I have no regrets and willingly. Just grant my request! ”
Song Meiling persuaded many times, and Yu Fengzhidu had made up his mind.
So, after obtaining Chiang Kai-shek's permission, Yu Fengzhi accompanied Zhang Xueliang to start prison life. The two have gone through several years, and suffered a lot. But Yu Fengzhi was satisfied and happy in the midst of suffering.
However, even such days are not given much.
In 1940, Yu Fengzhi, who had been in prison, suffered from breast cancer. When Zhang Xueliang learned of this, he repeatedly insisted that Yu Fengzhi go to the United States for medical treatment. Yu Fengzhi, who had no way to refuse her husband, could only leave for the United States.
At the same time, for the sake of Zhang Xueliang's life, Yu Fengzhi asked Miss Zhao Si to take care of Zhang Xueliang.
It's just that this time, Yu Fengzhi didn't expect that her marriage relationship with Zhang Xueliang would be severed, and even personally sent her husband to another woman's hands.
Yu Fengzhi's life in the United States is not good, on the one hand, he is suffering from her husband Zhang Xueliang, and on the other hand, he is suffering from chemotherapy for his illness.
To her despair, during a chemotherapy treatment, doctors had to remove her left breast in order to save her life. After the operation, Yu Fengzhi woke up leisurely, thinking that he could finally cure his terminal illness and return to Zhang Xueliang's side.
However, when she found out that her left breast had been removed, she covered her face and cried, saying in her heart: She has become a disabled person, how can she be worthy of her husband.
However, despite Yu Fengzhi's grievances in her heart, she did not give up the life she saved from death.
At that time, in a park in the United States, locals would always see a Chinese woman exercising, day after day, rain or shine.
Until later, Yu Fengzhi met an American friend and started stock trading.
With her genes as the daughter of a wealthy businessman and the knowledge she has learned since childhood, Yu Fengzhi has made a lot of life in the financial turntable of the United States.
However, the death of his son and the loss of contact with his husband made it difficult for Yu Fengzhi to maintain a superficial calm.
After settling in Los Angeles, Yu Fengzhi bought two large villas with the money he earned in stock trading, and said to his daughter: Your father longs for freedom the most, and now I bought these two villas, hoping to let your father live in and enjoy his old age.
In 1964, Yu Fengzhi, who was far away in the United States, changed his face greatly after hearing that Zhang Xueliang had written "Confession".
Yu Fengzhi knew that his husband's personality was absolutely impossible to do such a thing. However, the black hand behind the scenes is behind his back, determined to nail Zhang Xueliang to shame.
Angry, Yu Fengzhi lost his mind and decided to use the form of media opinion in the United States to criticize Chiang Kai-shek's actions.
Finally, one day, Yu Fengzhi received a letter from Zhang Xueliang. The letter tactfully expressed Zhang Xueliang's idea of divorcing Yu Fengzhi.
After reading the letter, Yu Fengzhi burst into tears, unable to make a sound for a while. After pondering for a moment, Yu Fengzhi sorted out the situation at that time, understood her husband's thoughts, and decided to divorce.
In this regard, their daughter Zhang Xianying was very puzzled, so she asked her mother Yu Fengzhi: "Don't you love my father very much?" So why divorce him? ”
Faced with his daughter's question, Yu Fengzhi smiled: "I had love with your father, but after so many years of husband and wife, we are more like relatives." Now that your father can't be free, I'll let him go and let him go again. ”
In July of the same year, 63-year-old Zhang Xueliang and 51-year-old Miss Zhao Si married in Taipei.
On March 20, 1990, 93-year-old Yu Fengxian died in the United States.
After the funeral, according to Yu Fengzhi's last wish, her daughter Zhang Xianying personally built a hole next to her mother to leave for her father.
However, Yu Fengzhi did not wait for Zhang Xueliang until his death. The husband Zhang Xueliang, who made a promise to her spend candlelight nights in the cave room, was buried with other women after his death.
In 2001, Zhang Xueliang and Zhao Yidi were buried together.

Yu Fengzhi is intelligent and virtuous, tolerant and generous. Her love for Zhang Xueliang is deep and admirable. Yu Fengzhi used his life to show the world what it means to rely on life and death and never give up.
