Behind the scenes:
In terms of directorial processing and use of lenses, "Fisherman's Light Song" obviously breaks through the concept of film and drama in early Chinese films, with a poignant and depressing style and a slow lyrical rhythm. "Fisherman's Light Song" is one of the representative works of Chinese cinema in the 1930s, and the early Chinese films represented by this film pay attention to the bottom of society and artistically show their miserable lives in front of the world. The film set a box office record for 84 consecutive days in Shanghai. In March 1935, the film participated in the Moscow International Film Fair and won the "Honor Award", becoming the first work in Chinese history to win an international film award.
"A Thousand Girls In the Sea"
Filming locations: Peach Blossom Ocean, Putuo Mountain, Ant Island and Shengshan Fishery
Filmed in: 1958
Director: Natural
Starring: Xiang Mei, Xu Man, Li Fengqi
In February 1959, when Cao Mengjun, secretary of the Secretariat of the All-China Women's Federation, and Dong Bian, president of China Women magazine, came to Zhoushan to inspect the work, they watched the feature film "A Thousand Women In the Sea" filmed in Zhoushan and based on the women of Zhoushan. After they looked at it, they said, "The women of Zhoushan are making trouble in the East China Sea, but they are really enough to raise their eyebrows!" "The women who make trouble in the movie are real people and real events, and they were originally going to be made into a documentary. The material is based on Wang Huiju, a young woman in Qushan Lengzhi Village at that time, Pan Xingcai, a female party member of the Daishan Nanfeng Fishing Team, Xu Jinxing, secretary of the female league branch, and Xie Suying, the "cuttlefish girl" of Peach Blossom Island, as the prototypes.
Jade Butterfly
Filming location: Dinghai West Avenue, Putuo Mountain and other places
Filmed in: 1979
Director: Zhang Fengxiang
Starring: Wang Danfeng, Xiang Kun
In mid-October 1979, the film crew of Emei Film Studio's color feature film "Jade Butterfly" went to Zhoushan to shoot the location. This is a love film about a couple who are sad and happy. The film crew took a fancy to Dinghai's old street, and decorated West Street as a small street in Osaka, Japan in the 1930s, where the hero of the feature film is home. The place where the male and female protagonists of the film, Xiang Kun and Wang Danfeng, had made up and rested, was located in an old house at the intersection of West Avenue and Middle Avenue, and the house number was No. 1 Middle Avenue. The scene lasted for 3 days, when a banner with Japanese written on the T-shaped intersection of West Avenue was hung, the signs at the entrance of the shop were redecorated, and the door of the barbershop was decorated with rotating ornaments... When filming, when it needed to rain, the film crew took a water pipe to pour water on the roof, and the water flowed down the eaves of the old house, and the water just fell on the umbrella opened by the lead actor Wang Danfeng. The citizens of Dinghai, who have seen the filming, still enjoy it to this day.
In the plot of the movie, there is a plot of husband and wife, mother and son looking at each other across the sea, which needs to be filmed on the vast seashore, and director Zhang Fengxiang chose to shoot in Putuo Mountain. The southeast coast of Putuo Mountain was the place where Murong Qiu missed his wife and son Wangdong and missed his mother. In the cold spring, Wang Danfeng, who plays the Takeuchi Jundai, wears a thin kimono, stands on the reef, performs meticulously, and the professionalism is admirable.

Legend of the Archery Hero
Filmed in: 2001
Chief Producer: Zhang Jizhong
Starring: Li Yapeng, Zhou Xun
When filming on Peach Blossom Island that year, the local government fully cooperated and also invested heavily in the construction of a "shooting eagle city". This win-win idea of shooting and tourism is not only a peach blossom islander, but also a major contribution of Zhang Jizhong to Zhoushan's film and television career.
In a self-report, Zhang Jizhong recalled: In 2001, Taohua Island was still quite "original", with less direct communication from the outside world, so that it maintained the simplicity of folk customs and also maintained the "as always" of traffic roads. For several days on the island, we spent most of our time walking on dusty trails. At that time, less than half a year, "The Legend of the Archery Hero" was about to be put into filming, and the time was tight, was it possible to shoot the "Legend of the Archery Hero" on the real Peach Blossom Island? The answer of the Peach Blossom Island people was: "If you come back in two months, you will see that it is possible to come to Peach Blossom Island to shoot, and you will also see how we Zhoushan people work." "70 days later, the main creators of our "Shooting Eagle" crew landed on Peach Blossom Island again. We were taken aback and did not delay the filming of "The Legend of the Eagle Hero" for a day. From September to November 2001, we filmed ten episodes of "The Legend of the Eagle Shooter" on Peach Blossom Island, which went far beyond the story described in the novel about what happened on Peach Blossom Island.
After the first filming of "The Legend of the Archery Hero" on Peach Blossom Island, Zhang Jizhong went to Peach Blossom Island five times and successively filmed many serial dramas such as "Eight Parts of the Heavenly Dragon", "Heroes of the Divine Eagles", "Deer DingJi", "The Tale of the Dragon Slaughtering in the Heavens", and the new version of "Journey to the West".
