The Republic of China is like an uninterrupted pear garden drama, you sing and I appear, interpreting a thrilling and dazzling wonderful past.
In this chaotic script, the warlords rising in various places are undoubtedly the protagonists.
Warlords refer to a military group composed of military personnel in the normal state system, who divide the country's geographical sphere of influence, use military means to divide one side, and control local administrative, judicial, educational, tax and other government agencies, and have the power to appoint officials.
Generally, warlords are the product of the weakening of the central government and centralized power, which ignores the existence of the central government and even confronts it.
Of course, warlords are not the product of modern society, and in the feudal imperial period, the local governments such as princes, taishou, assassins, and jiedu envoys who appeared on one side were essentially equivalent to warlords, but the name was not warlords.
Looking at history, the end of any dynasty in Chinese history has had warlords or warlords, and the warlords of the Republic of China are the most sad existence in various historical periods.
To say that they were sad was not that the warlords themselves would feel sad, but that the people at that time thoroughly felt what it means to live in poverty.
They do whatever they want, completely ignoring the voices of the people, and do not care about the ravages of foreign races on the mainland, and sometimes even hesitate to fight with tigers in order to achieve their own goals.
However, there are also some mavericks among these warlords, and Zhang Zuolin in the northeast is one of them, although he started dishonorably, but he never compromised with the Japanese, so that he was finally killed by the Japanese design.
After Zhang Zuolin died, the northeast was leaderless for a while, and finally his eldest son Zhang Xueliang appeared on the stage and controlled the military and political power in the northeast, but his life was not good, especially those old people who followed Zhang Zuolin to fight the world, did not buy Zhang Xueliang's account at all, so that Zhang Xueliang also shot some of them.
Among these people, the most uncomfortable for Zhang Xueliang is Yang Yuting, he even confided in his later years, I never believed before killing him, but I had to believe after killing him.
Yang Yuting's credit
In 1885, Yang Yuting was born in Sheshangou Village, Hongmei Township, Faku County, Liaoning Province, originally from Dailing Village, Songdaokou Town, and his grandfather fled outside Guanwai because he took refuge during the Tongzhi period.
When Yang Yuting was born, due to the hard work of his parents, the family's situation had improved, but this also made them think that reading was useless, so after Yang Yuting reached the age where he could go to school, they unanimously opposed sending their son to private school.
Later, under the persuasion of relatives and neighbors, his parents reluctantly sent him to a private school, and the teacher in the private school found that the child was too intelligent, and in order not to delay his future, he personally introduced him to Zhang Xiucai in Tieling County.
After hard work, Yang Yuting was admitted to Xiucai at the age of 16, but the situation was turbulent, and after the imperial examination was abolished, his cousin sponsored him to study at the Japanese non-commissioned officer school.
During his studies in Japan, Yang Yuting met many people, all of whom later became real power figures in the Northeast Army, and even exchanged letters with Sun Yat-sen, Chiang Kai-shek, Fu Zuoyi and others.
After returning to China, Yang Yuting returned to serve in the Northeast Army, starting as a platoon commander, and soon promoted to the director of the machinery factory, which attracted Zhang Zuolin's appreciation because of his outstanding talent.
Under Zhang Zuolin's strong promotion, he became an indispensable figure in the Northeast Army, and his wisdom helped Zhang Zuolin become the king of Northeast China, and even became the generalissimo of the army, sea and air, becoming the head of the Beiyang government at that time.
Yang Yuting is also known as the "wisdom tank" and "Northeast Little Zhuge ".
In detail, Yang Yuting's credit is indeed great, and it can even be said that without Yang Yuting, there would be no later Zhang Zuolin.
He helped Zhang Zuolin establish the Northeast Navy, formulate the Tian Fu system, build war-ready roads, and supervise the Mukden Arsenal.
These four measures directly increased the military, political, and economic strength of the Northeast Army, and also made the Japanese, who coveted the three northeastern provinces, dare not act rashly.
Yang Yuting's death
After Zhang Zuolin was secretly killed, Zhang Xueliang controlled the Northeast Army, while Yang Yuting's situation was very embarrassing.
First, he disobeyed Zhang Xueliang, a hairy boy, and secondly, in his eyes, Zhang Xueliang was really indisputable, so Yang Yuting teamed up with another figure in power, Chang Yinhuai, to often teach Zhang Xueliang a lesson.
Chang Yinhuai was also a bad person, once regarded by Zhang Zuolin as the same important left and right hand as Yang Yuting, and the close connection between the two of them naturally made Zhang Xue's conscience very uncomfortable.
Zhang Xueliang naturally also knew the important position of these two figures in the army, so in the face of their harshness, he could only endure and endure, and this move further stimulated Yang Yuting's arrogance.
Once, an official wanted to see Zhang Xueliang, but did not see it, turned around and went to find Yang Yuting, after Yang Yuting heard about it, he went to the marshal's mansion early in the morning, and as a result, Zhang Xueliang was still asleep, Yang Yuting ran directly to Zhang Xueliang's bedroom and kicked the door hard.
When Zhang Xueliang hurriedly came out in his clothes, Yang Yuting pointed at Zhang Xueliang's nose and scolded:
The old handsome must be like this in the world, messing with things, if you are like this, can the things in the northeast be done well?
Zhang Xueliang, who couldn't bear it, made an exception and replied:
I can't do you!
As the relationship between the two went by, the gap in the middle became larger and larger, so that under the Japanese discord, Zhang Xueliang finally killed Yang Yuting.
Zhang Xueliang's superstition
Yang Yuting was resolutely opposed to the Northeast Yizhi, and he believed that he should not obey Chiang Kai-shek, but Zhang Xueliang had already made up his mind that no matter how Yang Yuting persuaded, he would not listen.
Yang Yuting hated that iron could not become steel, and repeatedly advised Zhang Xueliang to quit drug addiction, and even often accused Zhang Xueliang of not asking about political affairs in public.
The Japanese, who had always had ideas about the northeast, naturally learned of the contradiction between the two, so they began to actively separate the relationship between the two, and privately compared Zhang Xueliang to Toyotomi Hideyoshi and Yang Yuting to the usurper Tokugawa Ieyasu.
Zhang Xueliang listened to the rumors and was afraid that Yang Yuting would really rob him of his seat, so he decided to take action, but he knew Yang Yuting's important position in the Northeast Army, and he was in a dilemma for a while.
Whether he should do it or not, Zhang Xueliang decided to throw silver dollars to divination, if the front side up, he would do it, if the reverse side was up, he would endure it again.
As a result, it was thrown three times in a row, all head-up.
This result surprised Zhang Xueliang, but at the same time strengthened his determination to do it, and that night he ordered someone to notify Yang Yuting and Chang Yinhuai to come to the Tiger Hall to get the documents, and then secretly ambushed the killer, and when these two people arrived, they were directly shot in the Tiger Hall.
This matter is the will of God in Zhang Xueliang's opinion, after all, tossing a coin itself is a matter of probability, if it is not the will of God, how can it be positive three times in a row?
So after this incident, Zhang Xueliang went further and further on the road of superstition, and every time he encountered a big thing that he couldn't decide, he liked to toss a coin to decide.
It is said that when Chiang Kai-shek personally went to Xi'an to supervise the war, Zhang Xueliang planned to give a military consultation, but he could not make up his mind whether to catch or release, and he handed over the decision to the coin, and the result was that all three times he pointed to "capture".
As a result, the Xi'an Incident, which shocked China and abroad, broke out.
Of course, the matter of tossing a coin is really difficult to explain for a while, after all, if you don't look at it, you can't determine the result, and Zhang Xueliang's move may just be to seek a little psychological comfort.
As for the idea that it is providential, let's just look at Lele, don't take it seriously.
