In order to further strengthen the home-school relationship, give full play to the role of parents in counseling and supervising the work of the school, and improve the education level of parents and the quality of the school, on the morning of December 27, our school held the general meeting of the parent committee and the fourth ginkgo forum in the east and west campuses. Principal Du Wensheng, Secretary of the General Branch of the Party Dong Ya and relevant leaders of the school, representatives of the School Parents Committee and the Parent Committee of each class attended the meeting, and Zhang Heqing and Li Quan, deputy directors of the Political and Educational Office, presided over the meeting.
President Du Wensheng and Vice President Xie Hongsheng of the East Campus Cooperative School Management Committee delivered speeches respectively. President Du expressed his warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to the parents and friends who have always cared for and supported the development of the school. He pointed out that educating people is not only in school, but also in the family, and at the same time put forward four suggestions to the parents' committee: First, continue to strengthen the supervision and counsel of school education and teaching work, and actively support, cooperate with and participate in school education and teaching activities; second, constantly open up new ideas for education, and strive to create a new situation in the work of the parents' committee; third, continue to give full play to the role of parents and schools as a bridge and link between parents and schools; fourth, continuously integrate and expand social resources, and promote more parents and social forces to provide a strong guarantee for school construction and development.
At the meeting, Vice President Liu Huaqi reported to the Parents Committee on the work of the school this year, Sun Zhixiang, deputy secretary of the General Branch of the Party, read out the list of the new Parents Committee, Dai Linjiu, assistant to the principal, interpreted the documents of the education department on after-school services, the school leaders issued a letter of appointment for the new members of the Parents Committee, and the new member representative made a statement, expressing the good wish of actively cooperating with the school's work, forming a home-school synergy, and promoting the healthy growth of children. This year's Ginkgo Forum invited some parents of students to share their family education experience, and the participating parents made in-depth exchanges on their children's education.
This forum further built a good platform for home-school collaboration and injected new impetus into the development of the school. I believe that parents and schools will work together and work together to achieve better results.
