Xiamen, 23 Jul (China Overseas Chinese Network) -- According to the Fujian Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, the graduation ceremony of the Overseas Chinese Five Continents Overseas Friendship Seminar (No. 13) and the Jiageng Spiritual Seminar (No. 3), sponsored by the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese of Fujian Province, undertaken by Xiamen University and the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese of Xiamen City, and supported by the Fujian Fumin Foundation, was held in Xiamen.
Zhu Liu, deputy director of the Friendship and Liaison Department of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and a first-level inspector, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Deng Biao, vice chairman of the Xiamen Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, Sun Li, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Xiamen University and director of the United Front Work Department, and more than 60 overseas Chinese leaders from 38 countries and regions including the United States, Canada, Australia, Germany, Thailand, the Philippines, and South Africa attended the ceremony.
Zhu Liu pointed out that in the past week, the trainees have studied seriously, seriously thought, seriously understood, and seriously exchanged, and have truly achieved success in their studies, gains in learning, and full of gains. Chen Kehui, Honorary President of the Chinese Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Lesotho, Hong Wuyi, Secretary General of the Philippine Fujian General Chamber of Commerce, Liu Taigao, Director of the Kuala Lumpur Hubei Hometown Association, Shen Xiongsheng, Chairman of the Southern African Fujian Hometown Association, Sun Zhixiang, Vice President of the Stuttgart Student and Scholars Association of Germany, and Chen Xiapeng, Vice President of the Chinese Youth Federation of Suriname, exchanged their learning experiences at the closing ceremony on behalf of all the students.
