On the morning of April 13, the first group of 180 Chinese tourists after the new crown epidemic arrived at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, by charter flight. At the welcoming ceremony, a banner of "Nepal warmly welcomes Chinese tourists, a country full of flowers" was hung at the welcoming ceremony, and the greeters dressed in local national costumes, played traditional musical instruments, sang and danced to welcome Chinese tourists. Embassy staff distribute materials such as the Insurance Guide to tourists. Ambassador Chen Song and Minister Sultan Kirathi delivered speeches and took photos with tourists, holding high the national flags of China and Nepal, shouting "Hello" in unison, and sending Nepalese New Year wishes to the Nepalese people.

Ambassador Chen Song said that Nepal has a rich world cultural heritage and unique beauty of snow-capped mountains. In March this year, Nepal was included in the second batch of pilot list of outbound group tourism for Chinese citizens, reflecting China's great importance to Nepal's friendly feelings and promoting China-Nepal tourism cooperation. The return of the Chinese tourist group to Nepal after three years marks the orderly resumption of China-Nepal tourism cooperation, and the people-to-people exchanges between the two countries have ushered in a new beginning, I believe that more and more Chinese tourists will return to Nepal, injecting strong impetus into the recovery and development of Nepal's tourism industry, and wishing everyone a civilized, safe and happy trip to Nepal.

Minister Sultan Kirati said that tomorrow is the Nepalese New Year, warmly welcomed Chinese tourists to visit during the Nepalese New Year, and sincerely thanked China for its long-term support and assistance to Nepal's tourism industry.
