The Lakers started this game by 10 points, but under the leadership of Anthony, Thick Brow and Westbrook, they successfully reversed and won the victory. Munch scored on a layup, Morant assisted Clark, Andelman scored on a throw, and the first quarter ended with the Lakers leading the Grizzlies 29-24.
In the second quarter, Anthony hit another three-pointer, Tillman and Jaren Jackson scored four consecutive points, and Howard scored consecutive baskets. James hit a three-pointer and the Lakers' advantage widened to double digits. Tillman threw to stop the bleeding, Westbrook and Adams scored against each other, and Jones hit the board. Munch hit a three-pointer, Bane picked up a basket, Thick Brow made a good layup, and Anthony and Clark scored on a layup. Bain cut to a layup and Adams made a layup after Morant blasted in a three-pointer. Wei Shao scored 9 points in a row and performed strongly. Tillman dunked under the basket, and the third quarter ended, and the Grizzlies overtook the Lakers 90-87.
In the fourth quarter, James hit a three-pointer, Adams made a layup, Anthony hit a jumper, and Jones was also in color. Anthony hit consecutive three-pointers as the Lakers extended their advantage. Morant also made a free three-pointer from outside the line, with James and Munch scoring in the open. Adams scored with a layup, Melton and James scored against each other, Morant scored with a basket, Thick Brow cut a dunk, Morant hit two free throws, Bane and Jackson scored consecutive points, and Anthony scored with a basket.
