On April 13, the film "Burning Winter" directed by Chen Zheyi and starring Zhou Dongyu, Liu Haoran and Qu Chuxiao was shortlisted for the "A Kind of Attention" unit of the Cannes Film Festival. The film tells the story of three young people who embark on a heartbeat journey in winter.
This is the second time that Zhou Dongyu's starring work has been selected for the Cannes Film Festival film list after two years. In 2021, the short film "Year of the Eternal Storm" "Separated Love", also directed by Chen Zheyi and starring Zhou Dongyu and Zhang Yu, was selected for the special screening unit of the 74th Cannes Film Festival.
