The game's two characters – Leon and Claire – each have their own storyline, and players can choose one to start the game and switch to choose the other. The game's Raccoon City has also become one of the classic locations in the series.

Equally impressive are the game's visuals, story development, and multiplayer mode.

13. Resident Evil 6 / Resident Evil 6 (2012): This game is a controversy between players of the series as it jumps from the adventure stories of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5 to a global plot mode. The game uses multiple characters (Leon, Chris, King Ida, etc.) throughout the story, and the gameplay and graphics present some new dynamics and elements, but it has also been criticized for being too complex and lacks the tension of the early days of the series.

The game is in an episode format, with each episode having new characters and new plot developments, not limited to a complex storyline.
