According to the latest genealogy of cross-talk masters, Ma Ji's name has a total of twenty-one apprentices, namely: Jiang Kun, Zhao Yan, Liu Wei, Feng Gong, Xiao Lin, Wang Qianxiang, Li Zengrui, Han Lancheng, Liu Xiyao, Peng Ziyi, Chang Peiye, Huang Zhiqiang, Huang Hong, Yin Zhuolin, Yao Xinguang, Li Guoxiu, Zhao Longjun, Xing Yingying, Liu Lixin, Hou Guannan, and Zhang Qing.
At least half of the people in the middle of this list are unfamiliar to the audience, and some people are not even familiar with cross-talk enthusiasts.
For example, Li Guoxiu, who is actually a writer and choreographer from Taiwan Province, was the founder and leader of the screen performance class. In 1989, he studied with Ma Ji in Guangzhou, but he never seems to have said cross-talk, but he is still Ma Ji's only disciple in Taiwan Province.

The reason why Ma Ji's apprentices are separated is mainly because the disciples of Ma Ji who appeared at the "Quyuan Miscellaneous Altar" New Moon Party and the 1990 Suzhou Xie Shi Meeting were not only more famous, but also the earliest and most authoritative "Xiangsheng Ma Jiajun".
Thirteen "Cross-talk Ma Jiajun" appear on the Quyuan Miscellaneous Altar, namely: Jiang Kun, Zhao Yan, Liu Wei, Feng Gong, Xiao Lin, Wang Qianxiang, Li Zengrui, Han Lancheng, Liu Xiyao, Peng Ziyi, Chang Peiye, Huang Zhiqiang and Yao Xinguang.
In this episode, there is an apprentice with a special pronunciation, he is Yao Xinguang, because he is a Malaysian Chinese, and he studied with Ma Ji when he went to Southeast Asia to perform. So his accent was distinctly different from that of other apprentices. Yao Xinguang is also Ma Ji's only apprentice overseas.
Relatively speaking, the thirteen Ma Ji apprentices who appear in this episode should be regarded as the most authentic "Cross-talk Ma Jiajun".
However, there is still a shortage of people.
On the eve of the 1990 Asian Games, Ma Ji's disciples held a "Ma Ji Disciple Xie Shi Meeting" in Suzhou, at which the host Zhao Yan announced the presence of ma Ji's thirteen disciples, and the eldest disciple Jiang Kun said in his speech that Ma Ji had fourteen apprentices, including an overseas disciple (Yao Xinguang).
In fact, only twelve people came to the scene to present flowers to Ma Ji, Yao Xinguang and Xiao Lin did not appear, but Xiao Lin appeared again in the later group photo, and it is estimated that it was late.
The twelve apprentices presenting flowers to Ma Ji at the ceremony were Jiang Kun, Zhao Yan, Liu Wei, Feng Gong, Wang Qianxiang, Li Zengrui, Peng Ziyi, Han Lancheng, Liu Xiyao, Chang Peiye, Huang Zhiqiang and Huang Hong.
Combining the Quyuan Zatan and the Suzhou Xie Shihui, we can generally conclude that the members of the Xiangsheng Ma Jiajun include at least thirteen people who appeared on the Quyuan Zatan, plus Huang Hong, who appeared at the Xie Shi meeting.
Third, the apprentices are also close to each other, and who is Ma Ji's favorite disciple
Where there are people, there are rivers and lakes, and to be honest, although Mr. Ma Ji is a fair man, emotionally and in work, there are also close and estranged between his disciples and him.
The author believes that Ma Ji's apprentices can be divided into at least three levels according to their affinity, and the third level is considered to be ordinary disciples, not everyone insists on cross-talk, and some people are not even cross-talk actors. For example, Huang Hong and Han Lancheng are both known for their sketches. Their units are also various, such as Peng Ziyi is from the Second Artillery Literary troupe, Liu Xiyao is from the Suzhou Song and Dance Troupe, and Chang Peiye is from the Shenyang Qu Art Troupe.
The second layer is considered to be a cross-talk apprentice, all of whom are members of the Beijing Qu Art Troupe, namely Xiao Lin, Wang Qianxiang and Li Zengrui. Although they also have a certain cross-talk skill before the worship of Ma Ji, it is true that these four were also personally carried and even "snatched" back by Ma Ji. For example, Jiang Kun and Zhao Yan were both sent to Beijing by Ma Ji from other places, and Liu Wei and Feng Gong were taught by Ma Ji himself.
These four core apprentices of Ma Ji did not disappoint the master, and Jiang Kun was on a par with Ma Ji's fame in the 1980s and 1990s, and later became the chairman of the Qu Association.
