Who would have thought that Minecraft 1.20 would be a new spring to renew the ancient "ruins"? The Desert Temple has added a completely new structure called the Cellar Room, thanks to the 1.20 archaeological system. So let's take an archaeological journey in search of the cellar.

"Archaeology" Classic Seed 10086!
Minecraft version number 23w14a snapshot, the seed is selected from the previous bedrock version of the fire 10086, the desert temple visible at the birth point of 10086 and a bone dragon fossil buried under the sandstone mountain range, once became one of the must-experience seeds for many players. SPEAKING OF TERRAIN AND BIOME RENOVATIONS FROM 1.18, I HAVEN'T USED THIS SEED FOR A LONG TIME TO EXPLORE, AND TODAY WE'LL TAKE A LOOK AT IF 10086 UNDER JAVA 1.20 HAS SOMETHING DIFFERENT.
First, seed selection 10086 loads the world and generates it in a bamboo forest. Speaking of bamboo forests, one cannot help but think of the current proposal in the community to join the jungle villagers/villages at 1.20. At present, this proposal is at the top of the list of 1.20 community update suggestions, and has reached a support rate of more than 11,000, such a high-voted proposal in the context of 1.20 developers + community co-creation, it is difficult not to think that Mojang will initiate the matter of joining the jungle village. So if a bamboo jungle village is achieved in the future 1.20, then the spawn point of 10086 may become a hot seed again.
Without further ado, before looking for the desert biome and the desert temple, let's make a brush. The synthetic list of brushes is feathers, copper ingots, and sticks. The sticks are simple, the jungle is full of trees, and the bamboo from the spawn point can also be cut into two to make a single stick. The feathers are also simple, and you can solve it by finding a chicken. The difficulty lies in the ingots.
To get a copper ingot, you must first find the copper ore, and the lowest level tool for mining copper ore is the stone pickaxe. The most common formation height of copper ore is Y=48 layers, but copper ore can be mined between -16~112 layers. In addition, copper ore will also generate cluster-type ore clusters, and large veins, so it is not difficult to find copper ore. You can even do fishbone mining on the 48th floor.
In other words, if you want to get started with archaeology, the difficulty is only to dig a piece of copper ore. Copper mining can be done in any group.
Found the stick, killed the chicken, smelted the coarse copper, and the next thing to do was to search for a desert and find the desert temple. Speaking of Minecraft from version 1.18 of Minecraft, Minecraft's group has been enlarged several times, originally the old version can run multiple groups in 10 minutes, and now you may not be able to bypass one group. This means that usually desert biomes are also huge.
At the same time, Minecraft now has countless small fragmented biomes, such as a small desert in the jungle biome and a desert island in the ocean. Perhaps in these small deserts, "desert temples" will also be born by chance?

Desert temple on a desert island!
Guess what, southwest of the spawn point, there's an island in the nearest ocean. The coordinates are approximately (-1781,Y,550). This isolated island is interesting, mostly desert structures and small parts are bamboo forests. Convention, this is not the climax part.
The most interesting thing about the isolated island is that the remains of shipwrecks are not far from the sea, and near the edge of the island is the remains of a buried "desert temple"! Since the Desert Temple was completely buried, the main entrance of the Desert Temple was facing the ocean after we dug it.
This time, we are looking for a new structure in the Desert Temple, the "cellar", which is located in the center of the Desert Temple, 7 blocks forward, and 2 blocks to the left. At this point you will see four blocks of sand, and here is the sand-buried staircase leading to the cellar. Dig down the stairs and you can dig out the entire cellar!
Of course, the new desert temple structure "cellar" in Minecraft 1.20 does not currently have any materials and loot, but you can use the brush in your hand to archaeology during the excavation process. The spoils of archaeology will not be talked about here, but I hope that Mojang can place some boxes in the cellar, after all, the fun of opening boxes is still far greater than archaeology.
