Guangxi News, China News Network, October 17 (Li Jiahao) "It came too timely, thank you, thank you!" Recently, at the water supply point of Liejia Village in Dabu Township, Yanshan District, Guilin City, villager Deng Ruicong pulled the fire commander who came to deliver water and said gratefully.

Recently, due to the continuous high temperature of the weather and the lack of rain for a long time, some remote mountain villages in Garmu Town and Dabu Township in Yanshan District have encountered water difficulties, which have seriously affected the production and life of villagers. After receiving the request for help, the Yanshan Fire Rescue Brigade dispatched a rescue station and dispatched fire fighting vehicles to deliver water to the villagers at regular intervals to solve the problem of water use for the masses.

Fire trucks have successively driven into Lieji Village in Dabu Township and Baizhujing Village in Garmu Town to deliver water. When the fire truck full of "nectar" arrived at the water supply point, the villagers rushed to tell each other and placed their own buckets, basins and other water tools. Fire commanders and fighters quickly started the fire pump to receive water to the villagers, and the whole process was orderly. Watching the clear and clean drinking water rush out of the water guns, the villagers had a long-lost smile on their faces. For the elderly, infirm and incapacitated water receivers, fire commanders and fighters also took the initiative to help bring water to their homes.

In view of the danger of drought and water shortage and fire prone to occur, fire commanders and fighters also popularize household fire prevention knowledge to the local people by playing fire safety propaganda videos and distributing publicity materials while sending water, and strictly preventing fire accidents.

It is understood that as of now, the Yanshan Fire Rescue Brigade has dispatched more than 30 fire trucks to deliver more than 50 tons of water to the villagers, effectively alleviating the water problems of the local people. The person in charge of the Yanshan Fire Rescue Brigade said that it will practice the practical activity of "I do practical things for the masses" and continue to arrange fire trucks and commanders and fighters to deliver water to the residents until normal water supply is restored.
