Overseas Chinese businessmen from all over the world gathered together to share hometown friendship, talk about cooperation and seek common development. Yin Li, secretary of the provincial party committee, and Wan Lijun, chairman of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, attended and spoke at the meeting. General Secretary Xi Jinping attaches great importance to the work of overseas Chinese affairs, and has always been full of affection for overseas Chinese, emphasizing that the vast number of overseas Chinese compatriots have sincere patriotic feelings, strong economic strength, rich intellectual resources, and extensive business contacts, which is an important force for realizing the Chinese dream. In March this year, General Secretary Xi Jinping personally visited Fujian, and earnestly hoped to better play the role of overseas Chinese capital, overseas Chinese wisdom and overseas Chinese strength, promote the convergence of more resources and elements in Fujian, and promote high-quality development. Practice has fully proved that the vast number of overseas Chinese businessmen and overseas Chinese compatriots have always been the advantages and wealth of Fujian's development, and are an important force for promoting Fujian's active service and deep integration into the new development pattern. Fujian is a blessed place, but also a place to realize dreams. Fujian will speed up the construction of a modern economic system, build an important node and important channel for domestic and international double circulation, create a "convenient Fujian" that can do things, do things quickly, and accomplish things, create a high-quality life, and provide more solid industrial support, broader market space, more convenient government services and a more tasteful living environment for the vast number of overseas Chinese businessmen and overseas Chinese to invest and develop their businesses. Fujian is a blessed place for overseas Chinese businessmen and overseas Chinese to invest in entrepreneurship, and in the future, it will continue to play the role of overseas Chinese businessmen as a bridge between economic and trade cooperation and integration inside and outside the country, and promote the high-quality development of Fujian.
Present at the opening ceremony were Li Zhuobin and Shao Xujun, vice chairmen of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese; Zhuang Jiahan, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial CPC Committee and director of the United Front Work Department; Cui Yonghui, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial CPC Committee and secretary general; Guo Ningning, vice governor of the provincial government; Wang Guangyuan, vice chairman of the Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference; and relevant responsible persons of relevant departments directly under the provincial government and various districted cities and the Pingtan Comprehensive Experimental Zone.
Before the meeting, Yin Li and Wang Ning also met with some of the guests and representatives of overseas Chinese businessmen. The conference reached a number of overseas Chinese businessmen and overseas Chinese intellectual cooperation projects, including 102 contract projects and 56 agreement projects, with a total investment of 181.3 billion yuan, and 30 major industrial projects were signed on site.
