IT House News on April 10, the popular online game "League of Legends" previously announced that it will launch a new game mode - 2v2v2v2, four two-player teams, each choosing a hero, and then playing against other teams in pairs, after several rounds of competition.
According to the latest news from League of Legends executive producer Riot Brightmoon, the mode will go live in mid-2023. In addition, this year, the game official will have more direct communication with national server players, and will invite more designers to share and discuss the game.
IT House comes with a brief introduction, the goals of the 2v2v2v2 model are:
- Quickly enter the Battle of Heroes.
- Let the personalization of heroes break through the traditional limitations of League of Legends.
- Keep the resurrection time and the time of getting stuck as short as possible.
All this is achieved through a 2v2 (v2v2) game mode: four teams of two, each choosing a hero, and then going through several rounds against other teams. In matches, the hero's strength gradually increases, gaining equipment, levels, and a special ability called Hero Enhancement between rounds. After a certain number of rounds of failure, the team is eliminated and the player can immediately start lining up again. This mode is inspired by the two-player combat mode of Genting Game.
