Pusher Cold Seych discovered that the code for Sonic's classic move "Spin Dash" had been added to the update file for Sonic: Unknown Frontier, so he asked the game director Morio Kishimoto, who personally confirmed that the move is scheduled to be launched in the second wave of major updates this year.
Morio Kishimoto also said that Spin Sprint was originally planned to launch in the first big update in March this year, but he and his team decided that its design did not yet meet the expectations of fans, so it was being redone and expected to be launched in the second big update.
According to the Sonic Frontier Unknown 2023 update roadmap, it will be divided into 3 major updates and all of them are free, the first free big update "Visuals, Sounds and Speed" was launched on March 23, followed by new challenge modes, new Koko, new stories, new playable characters, etc.
