According to Local Memphis reporter Mark Giannotto, sources revealed that Memphis's Rimone Owen Academy will hire former NBA player Bunch Wells as the head coach of the men's basketball team.
The source also revealed that the appointment has not yet been officially announced, and the official statement is expected to be released in the coming days.
Wells has played for the Trail Blazers, Grizzlies, Kings, Rockets, and Hornets. In the NBA career regular season, Wells averaged 25 minutes per game and could get 11.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.27 steals.
