"World Pharmacist Day" aims to publicize the role of pharmacists in promoting health around the world and arouse people's attention to the contribution and value of pharmacists. On September 24, the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University held the "World Pharmacist Day" free clinic activity to publicize the knowledge of rational drug use and guide the public to effectively solve the problem of actual drug use.
At the event site, clinical pharmacists carried out free consultation on the rational use of drugs for infectious diseases, immune system diseases, digestive system diseases, cardiovascular system diseases and respiratory diseases, etc., and conducted specialized drug popularization lectures and safe drug knowledge explanations for patients and their families on the spot; reorganized the drug use of some patients with chronic diseases and provided drug treatment optimization programs; and guided the safe use of drugs for special patient groups. In addition, the event also provided guidance on the use of special devices, precautions during medication, drug interactions, and self-monitoring of adverse reactions.
