In a recent speech, U.S. leaders slandered "forced labor" in Xinjiang and smeared China's xinjiang policy. However, the US side has repeatedly attacked China on the issue of human rights, which not only fails to establish the so-called global "moral leadership" of the United States, but further exposes its hypocrisy and "double standard" on the issue of human rights.
People have noticed that all along, the US side has been fabricating so-called "forced labor" and "genocide" and other outrageous lies without any real evidence, and has continued to make wild accusations against the human rights situation in Xinjiang, and even pressured allies to attack China together.
A lie repeated a thousand times is still a lie. A few days ago, information on the appearance fees and proportion of the "witnesses" of the so-called "Uyghur Special Court" was exposed by overseas social media, which once again proved that the so-called "Xinjiang human rights issue" is only a product of the online line of lies of Western anti-China elements, and is their political plot to suppress Xinjiang's industrial development, undermine Xinjiang's stability, and obstruct China's development.
People have also noticed that although the United States uses human rights as an excuse to point fingers at Xinjiang, this "human rights card" is playing more and more inadequately – because its own bad deeds have long been seen by the world. From the genocide of native Indians, to the shocking phenomenon of "modern slavery" in the United States, to the crimes committed by the US military when it withdrew from Afghanistan, the human rights teacher of the United States has long collapsed.
Take "forced labor", for example. Although the United States abolished slavery in 1865, its legacy is still deeply rooted in American society today. According to statistics from some academic institutions in the United States, at least 500,000 people in the United States suffer from modern slavery and are forced to work. The United States has not yet signed most international labor conventions, is the site of sweatshops, illegal child labor, human trafficking and other crimes, and the country's ethnic minorities face systemic barriers to employment... All this evidence shows that the United States is a country that seriously violates the human rights of workers, especially the human rights of ethnic minorities, and that "forced labor" really exists.
Not only is the United States unable to solve the chronic problem of human rights internally, but it also continues to create human rights disasters externally. It interferes in the internal affairs of other countries in the name of human rights, with the result that it drags those countries into war and turmoil, leaving one mess after another. Taking Afghanistan as an example, as of April 2021, more than 240,000 people have died directly from the war in Afghanistan launched by the United States, of which more than 47,000 are Afghan civilians. This is a typical evil result caused by the United States' pursuit of the "double standard" in counter-terrorism and human rights.
In contrast, due to the Chinese government's effective counter-terrorism measures, Xinjiang has not had violent terrorist incidents for more than four consecutive years, and the social environment is safe and stable, laying a solid foundation for rapid economic development. Erken Reyimu, a cotton farmer in Gulebagh Township, Yuli County, Xinjiang, has ushered in a bumper cotton harvest this year and is expected to "sell for more than a million yuan." This good day of stability and prosperity is the best portrayal of the development of human rights in Xinjiang.
Therefore, when US and Western politicians abuse UN resources and platforms to smear and attack Xinjiang, developing countries, including the vast number of Islamic countries, generally condemn it. This shows that the international community no longer believes in the disinformation they spread, and even resents and resents it.
The US side should face up to its own human rights abuses, manage its own affairs well, and stop interfering in other countries' internal affairs under the guise of human rights. Smearing Xinjiang cannot solve the problems of the United States, cannot change the reality of Xinjiang's prosperity and stability, and still less can it hinder the general trend of China's development. The infamous American "human rights card" should be invalidated! (International Sharp Review Commentator)
