Some netizens recently analyzed the reasons for the sharp decline in Tourists in Kenting at PTT, pointing out that kenting's high cost is scary, the transportation cost is similar to buying a low-cost airline to Okinawa to rent a car, a bag of fruit to 200 yuan, a hot dog to sell 70 yuan, and the environment is not clean enough, everywhere is dirty and messy, more bluntly: "A person with a normal head spends the same money must run to Okinawa, to save money to eat food to go to Thailand."

In this regard, Guo Shilun, who has lived in Hengchun for a long time, also expressed his views on Facebook, believing that Kenting Hengchun is the Hawaii of Taiwan, and while criticizing their own land, Taiwanese people should first think about whether they cherish this land, and even cite some people littering, picking coral, fishing casually, and all kinds of bad behaviors that damage the environment and ecology, and said with dissatisfaction: "Since everyone does not dare to mess around in the Philippines or Okinawa, why do they not cherish their original beautiful environment at all?"
Many netizens have left messages echoing, revealing that they have witnessed the bad people who litter, and some people think that the mentality of Taiwanese people generally feels that foreign countries are better, "as long as Taiwanese people have the responsibility to cherish every corner and the responsibility of the whole people."
