On the evening of December 1, the final selection results of the 12th "Challenge Cup" China College Students Entrepreneurship Plan Competition were announced.
After multiple rounds of competitions such as provincial competition text review, provincial final, national rematch text review, and national final review final, Hubei University of Technology won all 6 works shortlisted for the national competition, including 1 gold award, 3 silver awards, 2 bronze awards, and won the "Winner's Cup" of the national final for the first time, achieving the best results in history.
The Hubei Provincial Delegation won only the Gold Award for Huazhong University of Science and Technology and our university, and its overall achievement ranked second in the province.
Sponsored by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Ministry of Education, the Chinese Association for Science and Technology, the All-China Federation of Students, the Heilongjiang Provincial People's Government, and hosted by northeast forestry university and the Heilongjiang Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League, since its launch at the end of June, the competition has attracted 2,786 colleges and universities, including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, to compete in the competition, with the number of participating projects reaching 179,000 pieces, the number of participating students reaching 924,000, the scale of participation and the number of works have reached the highest in the past, after the three-level evaluation of school competition, provincial competition and national competition, finally Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and other 144 projects won the gold award.
In the online final review defense on November 28, the students of Hubei University of Technology combined the project PPT and video animation display, and made a detailed introduction from the aspects of project background, social value, practical process, innovation significance, development prospects, teamwork, etc.; in the expert questioning and defense session, the excellent defense performance of the students won the unanimous praise of the experts, and some venture capital companies threw olive branches to the project team on the spot.
It is reported that since the first "Challenge Cup" entrepreneurship plan competition was held in 1999, the "Challenge Cup" has developed into the largest and most influential college student entrepreneurship competition in the country, and has achieved good social benefits, economic benefits and talent benefits, and is known as the "Olympic" of contemporary college students' innovation and entrepreneurship practice.
