Zhang Guang died at the age of 57

On August 1, according to the official WeChat public account of the Yingde Municipal CPPCC in Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province, Comrade Zhang Guang, secretary of the party group and chairman of the Yingde Municipal CPPCC, died at the age of 57 at 11:38 on July 30, 2020 due to ineffective rescue from illness. The farewell ceremony is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at 15:00 p.m. at the Indyc Funeral Home.

The Beijing News reporter noted that Zhang Guang was elected chairman of the Yingde Municipal CPPCC on May 28 this year.

According to the official resume, Zhang Guangsheng was born in May 1964 and served in the 86427 unit of the Chinese People's Liberation Army in the early days, serving as a guard, clerk, statistician, and hygienist.

In 1987, Zhang Guang went to work at the Yingde County Health and Epidemic Prevention Station, successively serving as a doctor and office director. In 1989, he went to the Department of Public Health of Tongji Medical University in Wuhan to study health management and graduated from college.

In 1992, after graduation, Zhang Guang returned to work at the Yingde City (County) Health and Epidemic Prevention Station, successively serving as the director, physician and deputy director of the epidemic prevention department, and in 1996, he was appointed as the director of the Yingde City Environmental Protection Bureau for 7 years.

In 2003, Zhang Guang was transferred to the Party Secretary and Director of the Yingde Municipal Finance Bureau, and in 2008, he was appointed as the Vice Chairman of the Yingde Municipal CPPCC Committee, and continued to serve as the Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Finance Bureau.

In 2009, Zhang Guang served as the vice mayor of Yingde City, and in 2010, he also served as the director of the Management Committee of Yingde Yinghong Park of Qingyuan Overseas Chinese Industrial Park. In 2011, he served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Yingde Municipal Party Committee and executive vice mayor for 8 years.

In March 2019, Zhang Guang was transferred to the Party Group of the Yingde Municipal CPPCC Committee, and on May 28 this year, he was elected as the chairman of the 12th Yingde Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
