It is indeed cheaper to save labor costs by assembling yourself, and the process of assembling by yourself is also the process of learning computer structure, and it is convenient to repair and upgrade the configuration in the future.
The main hardware of a host is: motherboard, CPU, CPU cooler, hard disk, memory, discrete graphics card (optional), power supply, and chassis.
First, the motherboard: all hardware is directly connected to the motherboard, all data needs to be transmitted through the motherboard, and the motherboard is also responsible for coordinating the various hardware. Because all hardware is connected directly to the motherboard, the slot model on the motherboard must also correspond to the hardware, otherwise it cannot be installed.
Second, CPU: CPU is the brain of the machine, processing all your operations on the computer, CPU has AMD and Intel two brands, the interface models of the two brands are different, so the first thing we do when we assemble the computer is to decide which brand of CPU to buy, and after determining the CPU model, we choose a suitable one from the motherboard that supports the CPU model.
Third, CPU cooler: CPU will heat up a lot in operation, the temperature is getting higher and higher, so we need to have a radiator to help it cool down, radiator is divided into air cooling (with a fan to take away heat) and water cooling (with coolant to take away heat), the former is cheap, the latter is hardcore.
Fourth, hard disk: hard disk is used to store data, whether it is the system, software is saved on the hard disk, hard disk is divided into solid state (SSD) and mechanical (HDD), the former is fast but expensive, the latter is cheap but large. The capacity is usually above 128GB-4T.
Fifth, memory: each generation of memory upgrade will change an interface model, now the new motherboard supports the latest DDR4 model, but before buying memory still need to understand clearly. The memory capacity is generally 4GB-32GB upwards, and the larger the capacity, the more software can be opened at the same time.
Sixth, discrete graphics card: The current CPU generally integrates the "core graphics card", but the core graphics that come with the CPU can not provide too much performance because of the limited size and power consumption, the CPU core graphics can be used for office, video, and there is no big problem in playing online games such as League of Legends, large-scale 3D games or AE, 3DMax and other large rendering software still need a discrete graphics card to provide computing. The exclusive display brand is NVIDIA and AMD, the graphics interface is the same, and any brand of CPU and motherboard can be used.
7. Power supply: The power supply provides energy for all hardware, and the power of all power supplies should be greater than the sum of the highest power of all hardware.
8. Chassis: If you need to install a discrete graphics card, you need to consider whether the chassis can be installed. In addition, the chassis is too small and can seriously affect the heat dissipation capacity.
