In late March, a continuous spring rain woke up peonies in Hanyang Park. Peonies are called "Kao" because of their large, colorful and elegant flowers.
Hanyang Park is the first park in Hanyang and the smallest comprehensive park, with rare peony luhe red, famous ancient tree national acacia, and municipal protected cultural relics pomegranate flower tower, antique and revealing the subtle aesthetics of Chinese gardens.
Peonies have been used as garden flowers in Hanyang Park for more than 60 years. In the 300-square-meter peony garden, there are more than 400 peonies of 15 precious varieties such as Luhe red, Luoyang red, carmine, coral terrace, Kao, and fragrant jade, with flowers all over the seven colors of red, pink, white, yellow, purple, black and green, with all the color systems of the current peony varieties.
Every spring, photography enthusiasts and surrounding residents and tourists come to visit. It is understood that peonies can only bloom once a year, and the entire flowering period can last until about mid-to-late April.
Peonies are delicate, the petals will be burned if the temperature is too high, and the flowers are slightly inferior after the wind and rain. So take advantage of the spring light, everyone seize the opportunity to taste the wealth, elegance, delicate and gentle power of peonies.
