During the Spring and Autumn Warring States period on the mainland, the princely states attacked each other, and the wars continued, and finally formed the situation of the seven heroes of the Warring States. The seven kingdoms were: the State of Qi, the State of Chu, the State of Yan, Korea, the State of Zhao, the State of Wei, and the State of Qin.
When Guo Kai appeared on the stage of history, the four famous generals of the Warring States: Bai Qi, Wang Chu, Li Mu, and Lian Po, the first two belonged to the State of Qin, and the latter two belonged to the State of Zhao. Originally, the state of Zhao was strong, and with the two famous generals, he could also compete with the state of Qin, and he would not be destroyed by the state of Qin in the early stage.
The State of Qin completely benefited from Guo Kai, who single-handedly caused the State of Zhao to lose two famous generals, so he was jokingly known as the first god of war of the Warring States.

When Guo Kai was the prince of Zhao Wei, he was Zhao Wei's companion, and if you say it now, they are classmates. Whether it is "three irons" or "nine irons", anyway, Guo Kai has been very "iron" with Zhao Wei since he was a child, and he has an indispensable relationship. Zhao Wei succeeded to the throne as the King of Zhao, and the first one to be reused was the "old tie" Guo Kai, who appointed Guo Kai as Xiangguo and added the title of Jianxin Jun. From then on, Guo Kai was under one person and above ten thousand people.

Later generations also speculated that Zhao Wei loved Guo Kai, mostly because he saw Guo Kai's appearance, because Zhao Wei had a habit of breaking sleeves, and the two often slept together, and sure enough, they could "do whatever they wanted" when they were good-looking. And when Zhao Wei suffered from hemorrhoids, Guo Kai did not dislike it, and often licked the affected area for him to relieve itching, and Zhao Wei was moved to make a fuss, and Guo Kai was even more serious.
Although most of the people in the imperial court did not dare to offend Guo Kai, Lian Po, as an old general of the Zhao State, was not accustomed to him at all, and once reprimanded him in person, so the two of them also formed a bond.
When Lian Po led his army to attack the Wei state, it was in full swing. Guo Kai took the opportunity to say to Zhao Wei: "Now people outside are saying that Lian Po is proud of his achievements, that he has won the battle, and that he has the heart to be unsubjected. If he raised his troops and rebelled, the king would be in a state of irreparable disaster, so it was better to take back his military power to avoid future troubles. Zhao Wei was convinced of the proposal of "Good Jiyou", and immediately decided to send someone to the front line to recover Lianpo's talisman.
Lianpo and Lin Xiangru once had a beautiful talk of "will make peace", but it is conceivable that Lianpo is also a person who dares to be bold, this new king does not praise his battle merits, even if he wants to remove his military power, so he refused to surrender the military power in anger and led the army to attack Lecheng, which is really amazing, and it has become true if it is not the opposite. After Le Cheng was beaten away, Lian Po also knew that his life might be difficult to save if he returned to the Zhao Kingdom, so he really "surrendered" the Wei State. Since then, Zhao Guo has lost one less general.
In the summer of 236 BC, Zhao died of illness in the palace, and Zhao Qian took the throne as the crown prince and became the king of Zhao Youmiu.

Zhao Qian grew up in the palace, arrogant and willful, and had bad conduct. The person he trusted the most in the DPRK was Sangguo Guo Kai. He learned many things from Guo Kai that he did not understand before. For example, how to drink without getting drunk, how to gamble without losing, how to play with women, how to rectify enemies and so on. In his mind, Jianxin Jun Guo Kai is a truly knowledgeable person. So he continued to entrust Guo Kai with heavy responsibilities, or how to say that Guo Kai still has some "skills".
At that time, the State of Zhao was in turmoil, and the State of Qin thought that the State of Zhao was incompetent, and attacked the State of Zhao many times, and the State of Zhao was in danger. Some people suggested that Lianpo be recalled from the Wei state, and Zhao Qian, who was in desperation, also had this idea, but Guo Kai, the "big Zhao traitor", refused. He started from his own selfish interests, afraid that Lianpo would not have a good life of his own after returning. So the famous historical "Lian Po is old, can you still eat?" And so the story unfolded.
Guo Kai even bribed the envoy with four hundred taels of gold, telling him that when he returned to report to the king, he must say that the old general's health had deteriorated. The special envoy took the money and hurriedly promised: "Don't worry, Xiangguo, everything will be done according to what your old man says." "You said that there are superiors in this world who bribe subordinates, and this matter is also done by Guo Kai.
A few days later, the envoy returned to Zhao Guo and said to Zhao Qianhu: "Although General Lianpo is old, the amount of food is still very large, but there seems to be some problems in the intestines, and the minister only sat at his place for one cup of tea, and the old general went to the toilet three times. Zhao Qian shook his head again and again when he heard this, and said, "How can such a body lead troops to fight?" Don't bring it up again. So Lianpo was denied the last chance to return to China, and finally ended up depressed.
Without Lianpo, Zhao Guo still has Li Mu, the god of war, available. Li Mu was later known as the last "Great Wall" of the State of Zhao, and under his command, even the famous war god of the State of Qin, Wang Chui, was no opponent. Seeing that Zhao Guo could not attack for a long time, Qin Guo then started other ideas, and Guo Kai was used at this time.

Guo Kai loved vanity and coveted these things outside his body the most, and after receiving the promise of Wang Ao sent by the King of Qin, he tricked Zhao Qian into convicting Li Mu of treason. Li Mu was suspected by King Zhao, and he was depressed, and when he went out to drink and get drunk, the killer sent by Guo Kai killed Li Mu. A generation of famous generals died tragically, and the Zhao Kingdom no longer had a protective deity.

Although Guo Kai added up to get 10,000 catties of gold before and after, Guo Kai still sold himself and Zhao Guo cheaply - Qin Guo originally prepared 50,000 catties of gold, Wang Ao saw that Guo Kai was not worth that price, so he pulled the remaining 40,000 catties of gold back to Qin State, Wang Ao said: "I used 10,000 catties of gold to settle Guo Kai, and this one Guo Kai can make the entire Zhao Kingdom play." ”
Wang Yi on the front line did not expect Guo Kai to be so powerful, originally thought that he could transfer Li Mu away, but he did not expect that he directly sent a big gift - to kill Li Mu. At this time, Wang Yi directly rushed towards Zhao Guo.
So the Qin army soon attacked Handan City. In the face of the danger of losing the country, the "Great Zhao traitor" Guo Kai came up with the last idea for Zhao: Kaesong surrendered. It is too strange that Zhao Qian actually followed Guo Kai's advice, and the powerful Zhao State after the Qin State among the Seven Warring States died just like that.
"Zhao traitor" Guo Kai was the first "hero" of the Qin Campaign to destroy Zhao. Although the state of Zhao died, the people of Zhao were still there, and when he returned to the country of Zhao to take the huge wealth accumulated by bribes, he was ambushed by "robbers" and took Guo Kai's head and carts of gold without saying a word.
