The results of the 29th Hashida Awards were announced on March 28. Hashida Award-winning works include the morning drama YELL (NHK), the TV series Family of Tomorrow (TBS), and the variety show "Outlier Cabin" (Asahi Broadcasting).

The Hashida Awards recognize programs and individuals that touch people's hearts and embody interpersonal communication. The Hashida Bunka Foundation selects 10 award-winning works or individuals based on the works or individuals recommended by various television stations, commentators, and the Selection Committee of the Hashida Bunka Foundation, and on the 22nd of this month, it was officially recognized by the Foundation Council, and finally announced the results on the 28th of this month.

No works or individuals were selected for the Hashida Prize. Works that won the "Hashida Award" include the morning drama "YELL", the New Year special TV series "Tomorrow Family" and the variety show "Outlier Cabin".

Also winners of the Hashida Award were Toshitsuke Ikebata, screenwriter of the Ōkawa drama Kirin (NHK), and Hiroko Hasegawa, who starred in the show. There are also Fumi Nijido, who played the heroine in the morning drama YELL, and Koji Matsuhara, a news commentator for "Report 1930" (BS-TBS).

In addition, the "Hashida Award for Newcomer" was won by Ken Karai, whose acting skills were well received in "I Am Big Brother Special" (Nippon Television) and "Naoki Hanzawa" (TBS), and actress Kami Shiraishi, who won the attention of the audience through "Carry Love to the End". Singer Tomomi Sakamoto won the "Hashida Award Special Award".

The above winning works and individuals will receive an award bell and a prize of 1 million yen from the Hashida Bunka Foundation.

The hashida Award for Newcomer Screenwriting in the first year of the year received a total of 279 works. Of these, 16 of them passed the initial review of writers affiliated with the Japan Writers' Union. After a second review by the Selection Committee of the Hashida Cultural Foundation, two excellent works were identified that won the Reiwa and the "Hashida Award newcomer screenwriter award" for two years. However, they were not selected for the Hashida Award.
