The beautiful scenery also attracts many tourists, some of whom stop to enjoy the flowers, but more are busy taking pictures with their cameras and freezing the beauty of spring. According to reports, it receives more than 300,000 tourists in one spring.
This pear orchard offers a beautiful view of the sea of flowers in spring, and pears can be picked from May and June. In order to ensure that the pear trees bear fruit smoothly, the farmers here are busy with spring pipes. You see, the farmers in the area behind me are mulching pear trees. Fruit farmers told me that the average yield per mu here is about 4,000 jin, but the current domestic peak pear tree mu yield can be as high as 8,000 jin. In other words, the acre yield here is only half that of other pear trees, and although the yield is not high, the yield value here is very high. Because the varieties currently planted are improved, the "summer pear" variety suitable for the cultivation environment in hilly areas. As the name suggests, "summer pear" is a fresh pear ripe in summer with snow-white flesh, which belongs to the earliest ripe honey pear variety in China, and the weight of a single pear is 8 taels to one catty, rich in juice and high sweetness. The price at the harvest time is about five times that of ordinary pears, making it a veritable fruit of wealth.
In fact, in this base of more than 10,000 acres, there are potted blueberries with relatively high economic value in the greenhouses next to the pear trees, in addition, there are some ornamental seedlings such as begonias. Don't look at the whole rolling mountains are very regular now, but in the past, because of its hilly location, relatively barren land, poor crop cultivation efficiency, and inconvenient transportation, most of the villagers went out to work, and a lot of land on the mountain was deserted.
