MacArthur believed that he would win this war, so he became even more arrogant, believing that China was afraid of the strength of the United States, so he did not dare to send troops to face it.

Such arrogant remarks make China unable to endure any longer, and no one can endure such remarks that have already threatened China's dignity.
China immediately organized volunteers to come to the aid of North Korea.
At this time, MacArthur, who had been consecrated in many wars, must not have imagined that his nemesis had appeared and his consecration scene was about to end.
Subsequently, the volunteers quickly responded to the battle, and our side formulated a quick battle method, so the US military and South Korea were not well prepared for the sudden attack launched by the Chinese side, and the panic response made the Chinese side win the first battle, defeating more than 15,000 US troops.
In this sudden counterattack, the U.N. military seems to have not yet recognized China's seriousness about the war, and they believe that China is "joking."
It is highly likely that with China's strength, this war is nothing more than a defense of itself, and it is impossible to ignore itself because of North Korea.
Because of its contempt for China, the second attack suffered another crushing defeat, and this time, the Chinese side made a greater breakthrough in numbers, annihilating more than 36,000 enemies.
China's successive victories also made MacArthur realize that China's victory was not a fluke. The battle, which MacArthur had always thought would end in a few months, was now dragging on, and the morale of the soldiers had been greatly reduced.
MacArthur never imagined that there would be so many Chinese volunteers, and now he wanted to ask for reinforcements, but Truman replied that no more reinforcements could be taken.
Truman was more cold-eyed at this time, making MacArthur realize that his current situation was actually no different from being banished, but now it was not the same as before, and he couldn't help Truman.
