Home rehabilitation training for children with cerebral palsy
1. Functional training
Family-centered functional training for children with cerebral palsy is mainly by setting functional goals that are most meaningful and prioritized for the child and actively engaging the child. Children can gradually participate in activities of daily living from passive treatment. Functional training for children with cerebral palsy can be done in a playful way.
2. Drafting training
Children with cerebral palsy usually have one muscle that is overactive and the opposite muscle lengthens, causing the muscles to not relax and move well. The focus is on strengthening long weak muscles and stretching short strong muscles.
