2017-2018 season
2018 marks the 50th anniversary of the death of Martin Luther King Jr., and the Grizzlies paid tribute to the great Martin Luther King Jr. in a minimalist style, with the entire jersey only in black and white. The white background is black "MEMPHIS" on the chest and the jersey number, and there is a small cut at the neckline.
2018-2019 season
The 2018-2019 City Edition jersey is based in gray with dark blue and yellow, which is exactly the color scheme of the team logo. On the chest of the jersey is the yellow word "MEMPHIS". The gold trim on the side of the jersey mimics the gold belt design of professional wrestling, reflecting the Memphis people's love for the sport.
2019-2020 season
The Grizzlies did not release a city jersey for the 2019-2020 season.
2020-2021 season
The 2020-2021 City Edition jersey pays tribute to Memphis legendary hip-hop artist Isaac Hayes.
The jersey has a pinstripe-like accent on the black background, resembling the grain of a vinyl record.
THE METALLIC "MEMPHIS" LETTERING AND JERSEY NUMBER ON THE CHEST IS FULL OF HOMAGE TO METAL-POP.
THE SIDES AND NECKLINE OF THE JERSEY ARE MADE UP OF ARTISTIC "M" AND "G" PATTERNS, SYMBOLIZING "MEMPHIS" AND "GRIZZLIES". In the lower right corner of the jersey is the signature of Isaac Hayes.
2021-2022 season
During the NBA's 75th anniversary season, the Grizzlies also paid tribute to their not-so-long history. The new jersey uses a classic dark blue and yellow combination.
The "MEMPHIS" font and jersey number on the chest are derived from the design of the 21st century jersey, and the claw mark pattern on the team's name is derived from the team's original jersey. The neckline and cuffs are "MEM" lace made up of lines, which comes from the manifesto version of the jersey currently in use.
The logo on the trousers used an earlier design, changing the color to the current color scheme of the team. On the waistband is a classic bear paw holding the basketball in a simple design.
2022-2023 season
The City Edition jersey for the 2022-2023 season once again pays tribute to Isaac Hayes.
The jersey is based in black, with a metallic "MEMPHIS" on the chest, and the font pays homage to the team's 90s crest, but the city name and the position of the team name are swapped.
On one side of the jersey is a pattern composed of the same metallic "MG", and the asymmetrical design adds to the personality.
The emblem on the trousers is treated with a copper color, which adds a sense of heaviness to the times.
IN THE LOWER RIGHT CORNER OF THE JERSEY IS THE WORD "FOR THE M", WHICH IS BOTH "MEMPHIS" AND "MUSIC", SYMBOLIZING THE MEMPHIS LOVE OF MUSIC.
