He was one of the most dying princes in the late Eastern Han Dynasty, holding a state in his hands, but committed suicide in the toilet

01. The three highest-ranking people in the Dong League

In the first month of 190 AD, the cavalry of Kanto Prefecture attacked Dong Zhuo, and probably eleven princes participated:

Later generals Yuan Shu, Jizhou Mu Hanfu, Yuzhou Assassin Shi Kong Ling, Yanzhou Assassin Liu Dai, Bohai Taishou Yuan Shao, Chen Liu Taishou Zhang Liao, Guangling Taishou Zhang Chao, Dongjun Taishou Qiao Yao, Shanyang Taishou Yuan Hui, Jibei Xiang Bao Xin, Hanoi Taishou Wang Kuang.

Unlike in the novel "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", Cao Cao, Liu Bei, and Sun Jian are not included in these eleven princes.

In the first year of Chuping, Shao Sui raised troops with Bohai, and at the same time as his brother General Shu, Jizhou Mu Hanfu, Yuzhou Assassin Shi Kong Qianyou, Yanzhou Assassin History Liu Dai, Chen Liu Taishou Zhang Liao, Guangling Taishou Zhang Chao, Hanoi Taishou Wang Kuang, Shanyang Taishou Yuan Wei, Dongjun Taishou Qiao Yao, Jibei Xiang Bao Xin, etc., each with tens of thousands, in the name of courting Zhuo. ——"Hou Hanshu Yuan Shao"

First of all, speaking of Liu Bei, Liu Bei was defecting under Gongsun Zan at that time, and Gongsun Zan himself did not participate in the courtship of Dong, and Liu Bei naturally did not participate in it, let alone as a prince.

Secondly, Sun Jian was involved in the courting of Dong, and his identity was Changsha Taishou, and in theory he should also be able to be regarded as a prince of the road, but he had a dependency relationship with Yuan Shu at that time, and he was regarded as a subsidiary force of Yuan Shu, so neither the Book of the Later Han nor the Records of the Three Kingdoms counted Sun Jian as a prince along the way.

In the end, Cao Cao must have participated in the crusade against Dong Zhuo, and he was one of the first to raise troops.

It's just that compared to these princes, Cao Cao had no official position at that time, and the so-called princes had at least one county to be called princes, and Cao Cao could only be regarded as an army without territory.

In fact, it is also true that the troops that Cao Cao raised were different from these princes, who were all Han troops dispatched from prefectures and counties, while Cao Cao was a soldier and horse recruited by himself with all his wealth.

In addition, not counting Cao Cao, among the 11 princes, there are three people with the highest status and status, namely the later general Yuan Shu, Jizhou Mu Hanfu, and the alliance lord Yuan Shao.

Needless to say, Yuan Shu was the highest status at that time, as the concubine of the Yuan family, and a later general, his reputation was logically the highest, so even Changsha Taishou Sun Ce was attached to him.

However, I don't know whether his personality is too repulsive or his strength is too strong, so he is jealous, and in the end, everyone did not recommend him as the alliance master, but recommended his brother Yuan Shao, who he looked down on.

In addition to Yuan Shu, the highest official position in the imperial court is the turn of Jizhou Mu Han Fu, after all, it is a prefecture pastor canonized by the imperial court, holding the military and political power of a state, and it stands to reason that Yuan Shao's Bohai Taishou should also be subject to his restraint.

Finally, there is the special Yuan Shao. As we all know, Yuan Shao was unanimously recommended by everyone to please the leader of the Dong Alliance, because it was originally only an official position of Bohai Taishou, and it was the most ordinary among all the princes.

Realizing that the official position canonized by the imperial court could not suppress everyone at all, especially among them was the disgusting younger brother Yuan Shu, so Yuan Shao simply called himself a "riding general" and pressed Yuan Shu's post-general in terms of identity.

Since then, various princes have followed suit, and self-appointed official positions abound.

02. Han Fu and Yuan Shao set up Liu Yu

After the sour jujube alliance, the princes ate and drank, and found that it was not yet the season when the dates were ripe, so they went home separately.

Although the sour jujube party did not achieve any practical results other than wasting grain, Yuan Shao, who came back in a circle, changed his body and became the ally of the Kwantung princes.

Therefore, he decided to do something, to be worthy of the identity of this alliance master, after all, this identity expires and does not need to be invalidated.

Therefore, Yuan Shao consulted with the nearest Jizhou Mu Hanfu, and simply abandoned Liu Xie, the son of Tian, who had been moved to Chang'an, and established a new Ming Jun.

Yuan Shao's idea is very simple, you can abolish the martial artist Dong Zhuo at will, the son of the Yuan family of the fourth and third princes of my hall, and now he is the lord of the alliance of the princes of the Kanto, why can't he re-establish a son of heaven?

Jizhou Mu Hanfu this person has no opinion, plus is a protégé of the Yuan family, was coaxed by Yuan Shao's three words and two words, and suddenly felt that Yuan Shao's idea is very good, really after re-supporting the Son of Heaven, with his own merits, can he be less prosperous and rich in the future?

The new monarch chosen by Yuan Shao and Han Fu was Youzhou Mu Liu Yu, as a heavy minister of the sect, Liu Yu's reputation in the Great Han was quite large, probably Yuan Shao also knew that his move was unjustified, so he planned to rely on Liu Yu's fame bonus to achieve his goals.

However, Yuan Shao overestimated his prestige, and as soon as he told the other princes about his ideas, he was immediately opposed by everyone, especially the Later General Yuan Shu.

Yuan Shu was originally at odds with Yuan Shao, and he already had the heart to stand on his own, how could he be willing to second.

Seeing that everyone did not give him face, Yuan Shao had no choice, but he was still hanging on to the identity of the lord of the alliance of the princes of the Kanto, so he simply left everyone behind, just pulled Han Fu, and sent his predecessor Lelang County Taishou Zhang Qi and others to Youzhou to present Liu Yu with the honorific title of emperor, hoping to create a fait accompli.

However, Yuan Shao and Han Fu underestimated Liu Yu's wisdom, and Liu Yu was not fooled, and directly and solemnly refused the temptation to become emperor.

Yuan Shao and Han Fu tossed and turned blindly, but in the end, there was no result, so they could only give up again.

03. Forcing Jizhou

The vigorous princes begged Dong, and finally begged for loneliness; I wanted to support Liu Yu as the Son of Heaven, and finally sang a solo play.

Yuan Shao finally had to shift his gaze back to his one-acre and three-point land.

When he saw his Bohai Taishou seal again, Yuan Shao suddenly felt that all this seemed like a dream, and a few months ago, he was still the alliance master supported by everyone, and he was still planning to establish another Ming Jun.

How did he become a small two-thousand-stone taishou in the blink of an eye? How does this give you the point?

At this time, the strategist Fengji gave Yuan Shao an idea: "If there is about to be a big chaos today, and there is no place to establish a foothold, how can you do something big?" Now Jizhou is powerful and solid, but Zhou Mu Han Fu is a straw bale. The lord was the third prince of the fourth dynasty, and he entered Jizhou. ”

So, after some secret discussion, Yuan Shao wrote to Gongsun Zan of Youzhou and asked him to attack Jizhou; On the one hand, he sent his henchmen Gao Gan and Xun Chen to meet Han Fu and said to him:

"Now that Gongsun Zan has taken advantage of the great victory with foreign races to take Jizhou, all counties have responded, and your position as a pastor of Jizhou is about to be lost!"

Faced with everyone's alarmism, Han Fu was at a loss, and could only ask, "Then what should I do?" ”

Xun Chen said: "This is not easy to do? If you give up the position of state pastor to Yuan Che Ride, the general will definitely be grateful to you, and with the general of the Che Riding guard, how can he take Jizhou? ”

When Han Fu's Changshi Gengwu, Bie Ji Min Chun, and Riding Du Lieutenant Frustrated Shu heard this, they dissuaded them one after another, and said to Han Fu that Jizhou was rich, there were millions of people who could put on armor and go into battle, and the grain was enough to support ten years, and it was impossible to easily break through if Gongsun Zan came to attack.

And Yuan Shao, an outsider, with a group of poor troops, lives on my nose, just like a baby on the palm of an adult, if he is not breastfed, he will starve to death, why should he give Jizhou to him for nothing?

However, Han Fu was already frightened at this time, and despite the dissuasion of Frustrated Shu and others, he insisted on privately granting the position of pastor of Jizhou to Yuan Shao.

04. Toilet hanging

After Yuan Shao took over Jizhou, he made Han Fu a general of Fenwu, but he did not give him a soldier and a half-pawn, nor did he have a subordinate officer.

One day, an official named Zhu Han sent troops to surround Han Fu's house and personally drew his sword into Han's house, and Han Fu fled in fear.

However, Han Fu's son was caught by Zhu Han because he was running too slowly and broke his legs.

It turned out that Han Fu had slighted Zhu Han, and at this time Han Fu had no power in his hands, and Zhu Han specially came to provoke and retaliate.

Not long after, Yuan Shao also heard the news, and immediately asked Zhu Han to take down and execute him without hesitation.

After this incident, Han Fu was worried all day, afraid that Yuan Shao would be unfavorable to him, so he asked Yuan Shao to let him go.

What Han Fu didn't know was that Yuan Shao didn't take him to heart at all, how could he ruin his reputation for such a coward, so he agreed to Han Fu's request without hesitation.

After leaving Jizhou, Han Fu came to Chen Liu and joined his friend Chen Liu to guard Zhang Liao.

One day, when Yuan Shao sent an envoy to woo Zhang Qiao and discuss secrets, the messenger whispered a few whispered words in Zhang Liao's ear.

This scene made Han Fu present feel like pins and needles, and he thought to himself, it must be that Yuan Shao did not plan to let him go, and specially sent someone to kill him.

So, Han Fu used the technique of urine escape to leave.

After coming to the toilet, Han Fu thought to himself, the sky and the earth are big, where can there be a place for me?

Don't say that Chen Liu, I can't even get out of Zhang Liao's mansion, where can I escape?

Han Fu's heart lingered for a long time, and finally found that he still couldn't escape death, so he used the scraping knife he carried with him to cut himself in the toilet.

05. Virtue is not matched

I have to say that Han Fu's death was purely his own thoughts, when he held the land of a state, Yuan Shao easily let him sacrifice Jizhou, such a person, Yuan Shao really did not put it in his eyes.

It is the original sin that virtue is not worthy of the position, if he serves safely and steadily in the pastoral office of Jizhou, do not participate in any alliance to woo Dong, when the Son of Heaven is abolished, with the assistance of Geng Wu, Min Chun, Fang Shu and others, where will Jizhou change hands so easily? How could he end up with such a ridiculous death?
