According to The Athletic reporter Shams Charania, the Hawks will sign a non-guaranteed contract with center Jalil Okafor.
The 25-year-old Okafor was named to the rookie team for the 2015 Flower Hunt and averaged 17.5 points, 7 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game in his rookie season. But since then, its performance has declined year by year, playing 27 games in the Pistons last season, averaging just 5.4 points and 2.4 rebounds per game.
This offseason, Okafor was sent to the Nets by the Pistons in Jordan Jr.'s trade and was then cut.
