The Hong Kong Maritime Museum is located at Pier 8 in Central, also known as the Star Ferry Terminal. The Maritime Museum was first established in 2003 at the ground floor of Murray House, Stanley Plaza in Stanley, Hong Kong, and moved into the current Pier 8 in February 2013.

The circular building facing the sea in the distance is the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, known as the "Great Tortoise". The next tall building is Central Plaza, the third tallest building in Hong Kong, with a height of 374 meters, located at 18 Harbour Road in Wan Chai.

Hong Kong International Finance Centre, which is the second tallest building in Hong Kong, 415.8 meters. It is also a famous landmark of Hong Kong as a world-class financial center, located at 8 Financial Street, Central, Central and Western District, Hong Kong Island, now home to the headquarters of Henderson Group and the Hong Kong Monetary Authority.

Across the sea from the Hong Kong International Finance Centre is the Hong Kong International Commerce Tower, 484 meters tall, the tallest building in Hong Kong, located at 1 Austin Road West, West Kowloon, Hong Kong.

The building behind the wings of the "angel" is the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government Building, whose design concept is "always open, the ground is evergreen, the sky is blue, and the people are forever".

The highest point is the Bank of China Tower

The building with two antennas at the back is the Bank of China Tower, the fourth tallest building in Hong Kong, at 315 meters, and 367.4 meters tall with two antennas. It is the headquarters of Bank of China Hong Kong, located at 1 Admiralty Garden Road, Central and Western District, Hong Kong, designed by I.M. Pei to symbolize the height of bamboo.

Located next to the Hong Kong SAR Government, the conical structure of the lower part of the building is the Chinese People's Liberation Army Hong Kong Garrison Building.

On July 1, 1997, Hong Kong returned to the motherland.

Chinese The Hong Kong Garrison Building of the People's Liberation Army has a red five-pointed star at the top. Completed in 1979, it was originally the headquarters of the British Army stationed in Hong Kong, and in May 2000, the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region passed the Military Facilities Restricted Area (Amendment) Order 2000, which renamed the former Prince of Wales Barracks as Central Barracks, and on 1 January 2002, the former Prince of Wales Building was renamed as the Hong Kong Garrison Building of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.

At midnight on June 30, 1997, the handover ceremony of defense between China and the UK was held here. At midnight on July 1, the British army was laid off, and the Chinese People's Liberation Army officially took over the building.
