Japan's well-known beautiful girl game manufacturer Nitro+ launched the 15th anniversary commemorative work "Frozen Kyo NECRO" in 2016, as a veteran manufacturer, Nitro+ has launched "Song of Saye", "Armored Demon Muramasa", "Ghost Cry Street" and other masterpieces, and has also jointly developed many works in scientific delusional ADV with 5pb. Its business is also extremely broad, such as outsourcing derivative peripherals for DMM, launching official novels for its games, and participating in the production of animation.
However, in recent years, Nitro+ has been focusing on operating its mobile games, and in 2021, it has undergone a brand upgrade, with all-ages works and R18 works released separately by Nitro origin and Nitro plus. However, due to the loss of personnel, no new work has been released for nearly 5 years, and this work is also one of the last works of the Nitro+ period. The main responsibility for the project is Shimokura Vio and Fukami Makoto, which, like Nitro+'s previous works, has many elements of bad taste and combines the style of the two.

plot
The worldview of NECRO is quite unique, with both post-apocalyptic wasteland and cyberpunk technology themes, as well as magical elements such as the living dead and necromancers. Set against the backdrop of the Sino-American War in the middle of the 22nd century, Tokyo was set in the end of the 22nd century, covered in snow and ice. In that great war, necromancers became active, and the ability to craft corpses into the living dead brought about a subversive change in human resources in the war. However, after the end of the war, necromancers and living dead were identified as dangerous existences and began to be purged, and the male protagonist of this work, Wolongoka Zaoyun, is a necromancer hunter affiliated with the civil organization Traceability of the Dead.
In a commission, Wolonggang and his predecessor Yanohara went to investigate the kidnapping of the deputy governor, and after the two acted separately, Wolonggang and the main culprit Tang Yunshan started a fierce fight. However, when he defeated Tang Yunshan, he found that there was no kidnapped deputy governor in the car, only an amnesiac girl Baoji Ilya. This was the first encounter between the two, but due to some personal reasons, Wolonggang did not report the incident to his superiors, so the dark tide of crisis began to hit him continuously.

Unlike other ADVs that use text and textures to present the player with pictures, this game uses 3D animation to depict scenes such as battles, and explains them with pause close-ups and text. The frequency of animation in the plot is very high, and the art style is very close to 2D painting, and there is almost no sense of violation during the experience. At the same time, the UI of this work is full of technology and interspersed with various special effects, which seems to have a sense of substitution of first-person perspective games in terms of visual effects.

There are 4 personal lines in this game, and there are very few options, and TE lines will only be unlocked after all the levels are cleared. Although it is normal for each personal line plot to be parallel to each other in traditional ADV, it is based on the premise that the protagonist makes different choices, but the power of this work is that the story can be carried on with or without the protagonist. That's right, there are lines in this work in which Wolonggang directly becomes a living dead, so the main perspective goes to Yanohara, although Yanohara looks a lot like a female protagonist, in fact, the main line scene is no less than Wolonggang.
In addition, Nitro+ is a company that can do "Song of Shaye" after all, the presence of LGBT elements in the game is simply pediatric, the sexual orientation of the two people is all female, and there are more women in the plot than in Wolonggang. Of course, not only that, there are two people in this game who are all living dead, but it doesn't matter, because even without these two people, the rest of the people can form CP and fall in love. The relationships between the characters in the game are intricate, and each has an unforgettable past, and with an excellent performance format, the unfolding of different lines is particularly impactful. However, the TE line seems to be a bit conformist, and it can be seen that with the development of the times, Nitro+ has become a little gentle with players. In addition, the R18G elements in the game are still undiminished, including a large number of ketchup and other pictures, and the number of HS is somewhat small. However, it is a pity that the beginning of this work creates a very large world view, and the text also comes with notes to help players understand the background setting, but more space in the script is used to describe the characters.
Judging from the experience after clearing the level, the world view still has a lot of room for excavation, which is enough to support the making of a series of long stories. In 2018, Nitro+ and DMM jointly developed a page game called "Frozen NECRO Suicide Mission", which not only has a good reputation but also continues the worldview of this article. However, the game will be closed in 2022, so a large number of settings that are not used in this article may really only be buried in time.

As a late Nitro+ production, it is still full of familiar style, not only outstanding performances, but also very interesting systems.
