Metacritic announces 2022 publisher rankings: Sony first
Metacritic, a well-known rating website, today announced its 2022 game publisher rankings, and Sony SIE won the first place.
This is also the 13th consecutive year that MC has released this ranking, and the selection criteria will not be affected by sales and user reviews, but will be judged according to the following four dimensions: MC website ratings of all games released in 2022, percentage of games with a rating of 75 or more, percentage of games with a rating of 49 or less, and media reviews of MC websites with more than 90 points.
And according to Metacritic, as a game publisher, Sony's lineup of games released last year was the best of all its peers — SIE earned a 100% "good game" record.
