So after we settle down, we have to start reading novels, and the most important thing is to observe life and experience life. But at that time, I was still in school to act in a big drama, so I couldn't go with the group, and at that time, Liu Xiaoqing was still filming "Dream of the Red Chamber" and did not have time to experience life with the group. So Jiang Wen they went, they went for more than a month, in the first half of the month before the start, director Xie Jin specially arranged for me and Liu Xiaoqing to make up for the process of life, because this is very important for filming. The two of us went to the shooting site, called Yongshun County Wangcun Town is now called Furong Town, went there for a week, Liu Xiaoqing sold rice and tofu in the market every day, I followed the village secretary at that time to commute to work every day, the clothing should be the same, that is, what people wear we have to wear.
