However, last summer was too hot and lasted too long, and many flowers died. One of the pots of arrow lotus flowers, I have been raising for five years.
Once in the second year of rearing, due to insufficient sun protection, a large pot of arrow lotus flowers was full, the largest leaf was fifty or sixty centimeters long and six or seven centimeters wide. Under the scorching sun, in just a day or two, it was dying, leaving only a stump of less than three centimeters, but fortunately the stump sprouted the following year, and after several years of care, the flowers bloomed brilliantly last spring.
After flowering, I cut the pruned shoots and got four large pots, and as a result, in a scorching heat, not a single root remained.
Only this pot of Guanyin lotus, tenaciously defeated the scorching heat and ushered in another spring. The picture below shows what autumn, after the year, and now look like.
