Yesterday, when I was talking to an entrepreneur about innovation, I mentioned the idea of valuing the ideas of all employees in the company. This entrepreneur is in the field of clothing, and under the impact of e-commerce and short videos, the business is basically half dead. I have also thought about innovation, such as starting from raw materials, using industrial hemp to produce clothing, clothes are not only antibacterial, but also sweat-absorbing. There are many benefits, but the sales are average.

This entrepreneur mainly wants to hear some of my views on innovation, and I also give several directions for this entrepreneur to choose based on some of the things I have heard, combined with some new business models now. At the same time, I encourage entrepreneurs to listen to what employees have to say, which is also an important source of inspiration.

Let's say your company currently has 100 people and each person makes a proposal, maybe 99 people make a proposal that is either unreliable or too outdated, but as long as one person is proposing the right direction, we just need to improve this advice and potentially help the company to the next level.

Because people who are new to the workplace watch too many idol dramas with rapid promotion, it is understandable that they want to gain the attention of their bosses through some actions. But what I didn't expect was that Ren Zhengfei's attitude gave all new employees a dismount. Ren Zhengfei suggested that the new employee go to the hospital if he is mentally ill, and if he is not sick, he can resign.

Why did Ren respond like this? So embarrassing for a Peking University graduate.

Ren Zhengfei's original intention is to hope that employees can do their own jobs when they do not understand the company's business, and do not give advice to the company, especially on strategic direction, which is meaningless.

I have never said that the advice given to Huawei by new employees must be effective, but this willingness to help the company is positive and should be promoted, not suppressed. This is my basic opinion, and it is also what I emphasized in my article yesterday.

Even so, I still received a lot of criticism from netizens. They believe that if Ren Zhengfei is doing the right thing, the company should not leave those who are low-minded and boastful, and they will only be bad to the company, not good.

I have never denied Ren Zhengfei's personal ability, nor will I do my best to compare with Ren Zhengfei's achievements. I just want to make a personal comment on one incident that happened to Ren Zhengfei. If you're an entrepreneur and feel this makes sense, try it in your company. If it doesn't make sense, just learn Ren's style.

Of course, this may also be related to my work, I will make some thoughts about what happened in the past and the current development trend. I just want to inspire real entrepreneurs, and that's enough.

No one will always be right, Ren Zhengfei can't do it, and I can't do it. I would like to see entrepreneurs here cultivate the ability to think independently, and not dare to question others because they are authoritative.
