Victoria Alonso joined Marvel in 2005 before the official opening of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

"The existence of the blacklist is due to Victoria Alonso, one of the Marvel Big Three."
After Alonso's abrupt departure, Chris Lee tweeted that Alonso needed to take responsibility for Marvel's toxic work environment.
"A lot of visual effects people told me that Victoria Alonso is particularly responsible for Marvel's toxic work environment.

Chris Lee also highlighted how much control Marvel executives have over post-production.
"She wields a lot of power and has a prominent place in all the big decisions made in Marvel movies and series.
Kevin Feige and Victoria Alonso personally approved every shot, and all the VFX work.

Jeff Snyder of Below the Line said one source was not surprised by Alonso's exit.
It is said that she has been unhappy for quite some time and has recently been "out of tune" with other Marvel leaders.
However, Joanna Robinson of The Ringer disputed Chris Lee's claims about Alonso.
