Becoming an actor was something she had never planned to do, and she had been practicing dance as a child, initially aiming to enter the Dance Academy or Teachers' College, but later accidentally entered the Chinese opera for physical reasons. Deng Yuli had a clear and hazy understanding of herself, she said that she didn't know much about herself, but if she really wanted to say something, she thought she must be rebellious, lonely, and single-handed.

P: How did you get on the path of being an actor?
Deng Yuli: Becoming an actor is very accidental, when I was a child, I did not have the idea of becoming an actor, I have been practicing dance, the goal at that time was to enter a dance school or a normal school, and then because of physical injury, I needed to re-choose a major, and I accidentally entered the Chinese opera, so it was logical to start being an actor.
P: Looking at the information, your parents have implemented "stocking" for you since childhood, can you share how they "stocked" you?
Deng Yuli: When I say "stocking", I actually put it in quotation marks. My parents have always been very strict with me, but they are more open-minded and allow me to have my own thoughts, so I have done many favorite things since I was a child, such as learning flute, practicing long-distance running, learning dance, practicing swimming, and so on. Including the university choice to volunteer, I said I wanted to go to Beijing, and they also fully supported me.
P: What kind of personality are you privately?
Deng Yuli: I don't know much about myself, I can't tell what kind of personality it is, maybe it's more divided. But I knew very well that I must be rebellious, lonely, and single-handed.
P: You seem to like shooting with a film camera, what's so interesting about it?
Deng Yuli: My first film camera was given by my former best friend, and now she's gone somewhere else. An important reason to use film was to miss her. Another reason is that the film camera is emotional, usually I will save half a year's roll together to develop, when the photos are washed out, you look at them one by one, there will be unspeakable emotions, may be brought by memories, may be the helplessness of the past when you keep moving forward on the timeline, it is not clear, you can only understand. Anyway, I cry every time I look at the newly washed photos.
P: What kind of scene will become the scenery in your lens?
Deng Yuli: Shoot with your hands, sometimes you will take a picture when you see it, and you don't take a picture in order to take a picture, and you will shoot with your mobile phone when you go out without a camera.

P: What was the deepest impression and impact of this play on you?
Deng Yuli: The deepest impression is that the difference between acting in a movie and shooting a TV series is still quite large, maybe the shooting cycle is the same, but the movie comes out for two hours, the TV series is by episode, and when shooting a movie, it may be done many times to shoot an action. I think the impact of filming is a little bit of masonry, every time a scene is affected a little bit, each scene affects a little bit, and finally it will change from a water droplet to a sea. In the end, if I become a good actress, there must be a little bit of chicken feathers.
P: In 2016, he also starred in a movie call for love at the center of the world, under what circumstances did this movie appear at that time? What's it like to make a movie for you?
Deng Yuli: I still think about it, I am still very grateful to director Guo Zairong, his requirements for actors are natural and keep nature, at that time I did not have any acting experience, when I auditioned, I completely spilled the acting, no matter what the expression, laughing can see the kind of spitting of the stomach. I didn't expect the director to be satisfied, so I had the me in "The Center of the World Calls for Love". At that time, I had no concept of making movies and TV series, but now if I had the opportunity to participate in movies, I would act with more awe.
P: Which role is the hardest for you and what is the hardest in it?
Deng Yuli: It is Song Qiqi in "Exclusive Memory" that I killed some time ago. She was the first role I played by stripping off my own "clothes" and "putting them on" Song Kiki's clothes.

Deng Yuli: I can only say that I hope that I will always be young, and I can still shoot with passion when I am 60.
