On March 19, the Croatian government successfully detonated an anti-ship mine left over from World War II. It is reported that the anti-ship mine was discovered in June 2022 and was loaded with 690 kg of explosives.
Local residents were safely evacuated before the mine was detonated, and all traffic routes were temporarily closed.
The mine was reported to have been discovered in June last year and contained 690 kilograms of explosives. Emergency teams move mines away from the city before detonating them.
