This is a serious terrorist attack, and no organization or individual has yet claimed responsibility for this incident.
China's diplomatic department immediately made representations to China and Africa, demanding that China and Africa immediately investigate and severely punish the murderers. At the same time, early warnings were issued to require Chinese citizens not to go to high-risk areas, and those already in high-risk areas should be evacuated as soon as possible.
Recently, the situation in the Central African Republic has been turbulent, and there have been many vicious security incidents against workers of foreign mining enterprises, resulting in many casualties.

On September 29, 1964, China formally established diplomatic relations with China and Africa. In January 1966, after Bokassa became president, he severed diplomatic relations with China. On August 20, 1976, China and China and Africa resumed diplomatic relations. On July 8, 1991, the Kolingba government of China and Africa announced the "resumption of diplomatic relations" with Taiwan, so China suspended diplomatic relations between the two countries. On 29 January 1998, China and China and Africa resumed diplomatic relations at the ambassadorial level.
In August 2004 and September 2009, then Chinese and African President Bozizé paid two friendly visits to China, and relations between the two countries have maintained steady development so far.
The attack undoubtedly had a certain negative impact on relations between the two countries, and one has to wonder whether the Chinese African government has the ability to protect foreign citizens in Central Africa.
