In order to conscientiously implement the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Solid Waste, further promote the prevention and control of agricultural non-point source pollution, and improve the level of agricultural ecology and resource protection in the city, from October 14 to 15, the Tianshui Agricultural Ecology and Resource Protection Technical Service Center held a business training course on the protection of agricultural ecological resources and the implementation of the Law on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Solid Waste. More than 50 people attended the training course, including the leaders in charge of the Municipal Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau, the responsible comrades of relevant departments and units, the responsible comrades in charge of agricultural environmental protection, soil and fertilizer, plant protection, rural energy and other aspects of various counties and districts, and the business cadres of the Municipal Agricultural Ecology Center.
At the training class, the trainees went to Qinzhou District to observe the reduction and efficiency of chemical fertilizer in Xipoliang, Tianshui Town, the integration of water and fertilizer in Strawberry Town, Tianshui Town, the demonstration point of waste agricultural film recycling - tail vegetable treatment and utilization in Yangjiasi Town, Cui Zengtuan, director of the Provincial Cultivation and Protection Station and a second-level researcher, Li Chongxiao, deputy director of the Provincial Agricultural Ecology Station, and Jin Xiaojun, professor and master tutor of Gansu Agricultural University, respectively, on the reduction and efficiency of chemical fertilizers, the recycling and utilization of waste agricultural film, the prevention and control of soil pollution on cultivated land, and the treatment and utilization technology of tail vegetables in the field. The responsible comrades and experts of the relevant business units of the Municipal Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau respectively interpreted the "Law on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Solid Waste" and explained the business knowledge of pesticide packaging waste recycling and disposal, comprehensive utilization of straw, and statistics of soil and fertilizer reports.
Through this training, the participants further clarified their work tasks, mastered the policies and regulations related to agroecology and resource protection, practical technologies, working ideas and methods, broadened their horizons, and improved their business capabilities and levels.
